dead as a dodo used to be very intermittent but very recently nothing, in d, m or 1-3 sport or snow mode doesn't make a difference as used to kick down whatever gear you were in apart from 1st if it needed to
-
yep didn't make a difference, goes through gears just fine just the kickdown that seems to miss a beat
-
is an rs200 no check lights up etc.. just sometimes kicks down when overtaking others it doesn't you have to manual change down if not, I did find out pretty quick the car being adaptive to driving styles same as last toyota was the same good self learning, but that's why was thinking of a kickdown switch faulty, so might be sensor or ecu but would think sensor is fine due to car running fine and no codes
is there an auto ecu pinout so can check to see if there is a specific pin for kickdown control
oil not long been done
-
ok will have a look into it, maybe then it's the ecu at fault so need a ecu pinout diagram
thanks

I do but not all the time I want to that is specifically why I bought an auto or more towards triptronic for the convenience of when I want to shift or not, but still it's a fault that I want to sort but really would have thought someone would know as would possibly be the same on the is200
-
when it want's to lol, I thought it would be there but can't find it, or is it right up behind the dash, will try lexus and see if that get's me anywhere
-
it's the switch which when activated tells the gearbox to shift down it doesn't just do magically
got a link but won't let me put it up or paste it for some reason
if you put this in google search
is300 gearbox kickdown switch
it's the 4th one down
-
as above does anyone know where the kickdown switch is on the triptronic gearbox?
found loads of information on it but not where it's located
thanks

would suggest changing top mounts then or could be your arb bushes

Not sure on age but I know they are a Japanese manufactures and that they make a lot of other suspension aswell like anti roll bars, coilovers, strut braces etc..
Mainly because of the ride comfort there the only ones which are soft but still lower the car, got trd ones on now and find them uncomfortable even with them being progressive
-
no one at all has them ?
-
rattling or light knocking when going over bumper but unless they are bad normally there are no sign's that they need changing only real way is change them, unless you can visually see there is a lot of movement in them when someone rocks the car
-
eibach pro springs lower the car more and think they are slightly stiffer, does anyone know the spring rates of the eibach springs
-
No one tried them? or even been in a car which has them??
-
u know the spring rate's?
I got trd ones at the moment and are 6.5 front and 6 rear with a nice drop 35mm
-
Any one using Tanabe - NF210 - Springs on there is200/300 or altezza, do you know if there progressively wound or have a picture of the springs and if possible could you provide picture of them fitted please as would be most grateful
many thanks B)

Hi, after some cheap top mounts to stop mine rattling while I save up for some coilovers
just wondering if these which I found which are cheap and if they are the correct item I need, I've checked on the website etc.. and they seem to be the correct item but just wondering if they are and if anyone has bought or used the same/similar kit
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=151080146703#ht_4681wt_1052
I take its a bush replacement kit
cheers all

similar thing but the one I'm on about is this, this is the toyota one but I believe they also come with lexus on them but are exactly the same, sorry but should have put pic up first to save confusion
thanks

Hi all, just wondering what these fetch now, seen some go quite high in price and just wondered what some would value them at, I know they are very rare but what does that translate in cash?
I have one but am trying to decide weather to keep it or sell and put the funds into other parts, if there not fetching much think I might keep it, but I don't smoke, have animals or like the smelly air fresheners so not much point keeping it
any help
cheers

5.5-6 inch screen
-
not to sure think it's 6.5" or 5.5" but will measure, I know that a 7" screen can be made to fit like a sony unit
-
I'm after a jdm dash tray insert like this one, and possibly the vents as well.

In uk so need to be willing to post
Many thanks
