Stuart is probably correct Alexander , bumper support could be upside down which is why the holes dont line up ,either that or there is something not right with the bumper . Your right not to be impressed it is obviously wrong so why would they leave it like that . Excuse the safety slippers and shadow .

Clear lenses looking good Duncan , where did you acquire them from if you don't mind me asking . -
John hi , recently had the same problem on my Mk3 , no suitable Dunlops and the Falkens which were very similar are no longer available either it seems . I went for a set of Michelin Crossclimate 102W XL , the grip and handling are excellent ,low noise level which is also good . Only time will tell how long they last but so far I am impressed with the quiet and handling of these tyres ,they are not cheap mind not much change from £600 ,which is more than I paid for the car . Hope this is some help good luck with your tyre search . Chris

You are not going mad mark , only the outside clusters should light up with the side lights on , the inner cluster houses the fog and reverse lights .

Dennis hi , if the fluid they have sold you is cherry red and says ATF then it is ok , if it is their usual black/brown treacle type then it probably shouldn't be used . Problems may arise later down the line if the wrong fluid is used , it may not mention the correct fluid in your Mk3 handbook ,I have two handbooks both came with 1996 Mk3's one specifies the fluid and the other has no mention of it .

Colin hi , the O ring Ambermarine mentions is at the end of the slide pin furthest from the boot and fits into a groove in the pin , only one slide pin has an O ring on the rear calipers the other is just a plain pin . The slide pins have to go back into there respective tubes ,so make sure you make a note of which one go's where . Good luck

Nice one Rudy , that will be a big weight off your mind . You can now look forward to another year of pleasure motoring -
Tom hi , I assume the now fixed part of your post means you followed Ambermarines suggestion and replaced the air intake between the MAF and the throttle body . As you are not sure what state your main ECU is in, it might be a good idea to do the ECU ripple test (link below ) to check the ECU capacitors . If these are faulty or leaking all sorts of problems can occur . http://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-1st-and-2nd-gen-1990-2000/715345-how-to-check-your-ecu-without-removing-it-from-car-by-yamae.html The other slight worry from your post is the code for the ECT showing up ,this part is fairly critical to the running of the car . I am guessing by the amount you paid for the replacement you fitted, it wasn't a genuine part or even a branded OEM equivalent ,some of the cheap Chinese ones do not always perform well (being diplomatic there) . Did you test your original with Steves temp and resistance check to see if it was faulty . I hope you get it sorted soon so you can enjoy driving it .

Stuart hi, your ebay link has been removed it seems . Regarding the O ring just checked the packet my last one came in and it has a different part number namely 90080-30040 . The measurements are ID 12mm , OD 15mm . A 3/8 drive 12mm socket fits through the pump pulley quite easily , even a 1/2 drive one will fit at a push . Package received ok , thank you .

Stuart , if you have had the IAVC replaced it is probably the O ring at the bottom of the reservoir that is leaking ,a very common problem on the earlier cars (part number 90301-12003 ) available from Toyota dealers . I used a suitable sized one from an O ring kit last time mine needed replacing ,has held up for a couple of years so far , the OEM ones are expensive for what they are . Quite an easy job to replace yourself if you have basic tools (which I suspect you have if you are buying heavy duty axle stands) ,there is a Lexls tutorial for removal of the thing if you need it . If it is the reservoir O ring leaking you wont need to crawl under the car . Glad your brake job went ok ,should be good for a few years .

That is annoying being outbid at the last minute , a lot of the after market ones I looked at had the ends chamfered so there must be a reason they are made like that . When I first got my Mk2 about five years ago I fitted some cheap QH pads , the amount of muck they threw off and the squealing noise they made used to drive me nuts . I think they were made from compacted coal dust , best to buy decent quality ones if you can , if you can pick them up cheap from Ebay even better .

Stuart hi , the oem ones I purchased a while ago (still saving for some decent quality discs to go with them ) have both ends chamfered but not the inner edge at one end like yours appear to have . They are the right part number for the year ,so maybe it is a new feature to prevent squeal or something . You have got them for a very good price .
