  1. I probably mentioned this before, in comparison to its german rivals or other cars in its range, maintainance on this car is a heck cheaper. I mean who gets Brembo front discs amd pads for £160 (ECP...wait for the 50% discount on occasions) not to mention other bits which are common faults like ... like...like... errrr none Thats why i came back to a ISF. The block on these are great and reliable.. cars at 130k in good looked after condition are still selling, just shows how people believe in its reliability. Id be more worried about the warrenty running out on my hybrid then the ISF. I would advise stick 2k aside for worst case scenario which i doubt you will need and enjoy the ride. Brakes and tyres will be the biggest cost other then that not much.
  2. Its a piece of cake to do.. what i would suggest is to do it in summer because mine took ages to dry out the UV sealant. Ive just ordered another sealant so i can coat them every 6months to keep them looking fresh https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00A3S1RGU/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_yebrAbMEYY5SD
  3. No doubt.. the difference before and after is night n day. The xenons swiched on gave it that extra sparkle, i guess that was the masters desire yeah @Big Rat Booked it in for this sat to get some 50% tints all round and rear diffuser wrap like i had on my last one. Ordered the rear roof spoiler and plastidip for the front grill too. I'll get more pictures up when everthing is done later in the new year. Btw totally off topic, but its snowing in Brum. . .again!
  4. So was sitting on my lazy backside thinking what i can do. . And i remebered i ordered a Visbella headlight restoration kit last month for the ISF (from ebay for about £15). The lights had the yellowish cloudy stuff coming on now. So i started in excitement and forgot to take the before pictures..doh.... Anyway i did take the after pictures . I do recommend this product and the results were very good. How long it lasts only time will tell. The kits come with all the stuff you need (bit tight on the masking tape). And imo its enough for 2 cars. Took about 2 hours.. need to take your time or you can scratch the car.
  5. @Jgtcracer give us some more details on your experience after having it fitted.
  6. Zoom into the road kill and you might just see a 225 40 19 Bridgestone print. . . Definatley a ISF in that picture 🤣
  7. Love the little mods.. not too much and still looks good. Im defo looking to add 15mm spacers, 25mm front drop and a apexi throttle controller at some point. Still need to make my mind up on a takeda intake or HPS with stock filter.
  8. Yeah someone else told me that and they also said put rice on the affected area to soak up the water. Since i cleared the rear screen of the moist from the inside its alot better.. still waiting for it to fully dry out.
  9. I think i found the area.. just saw drops of water at the bottom end of the rear screen on the inside.. i can only think it was when it was snowing i opened the boot and whole load of ice dropped into the boot, could have potentially formed from that. Never the less i will try to clear that and see and if that dont work i will try the moist bag. Thanks guys.
  10. Does any one else get really bad steamed up front screen and side windows? Doesn't matter what the temp is on they just steam up very quick.. unless i have the Aircon on constantly which de mists rapidly.. Any one else in the same situation? My GS on the other hand is excellent. I dint have my last ISF in the winter so just wanted to know who else suffers from this.
  11. There is a white ISF with 60k on ebay for £15,995.. steel deal i think.
  12. Good to see great customer service. Im planning on taking out the extended warranty when they collect my car on the 28th. . Mine is in the 90s too, Cant go wrong with £75pm for 24month cover.
  13. I have recently experienced the exact same on my GS300h.. does it on turning only both forward or reverse. I thought my wheel was loose, or might be a issue with the 19" tyres. But its good to know its nothing to worry about might get it checked out as its still under warranty.
  14. Hmmm last time i asked they told me it has to be full payment upfront. I will defo look into that. Thanks guys.
  15. I have seen many V8s running on no warranty (around isf ages) with a worrying list of common pdoblems but never had a issue. Personally if i had a german car id stick a warranty on it. Having a fair few Lexus/toyotas now i feel confident runnung my Lexus without one.. im not mad nor am i loaded. All i have is trust in what i bought. They do very rarely to go wrong, so its a personal preference. I might one day decide i want a warrenty, who knows. Another thing i would say is £900 for 2year cover is a very very good price for a V8 performance car. Hmmm. . .making me think again now lol
  16. Back to back GS and ISF.
  17. Ive always said light colours show the lines and groves of each panel better than dark colours. I wasnt a fan of silver till i actually saw it.. i also hated grey.. now i have both GS in grey and IS in silver lol.
  18. Oh go on then... @Big Rat
  19. Join the silver club.. tell him ratty @Big Rat
  20. Just make sure it all checks out.. when i bought mine i did a thorough check, called the the specialists who looked after thr car for almost 6 yrs, with email confirmation to make sure the work was done.. condition is key mechanically and visually. Its little things like this that give the new owner a piece of mind and make your very rare car appealing to buy. . low owners who have had it a long time and a tidy car make a good buy. When you start and drive it you will know if the car for you or not. When i bought my current one it drove better then my last white one (which was bought from dealers). £13k for ISF in good nick and no issues is a no brainer. Good luck.
  21. Depends how loud you want it.. personally i would leave the res and fit cats, see how loud it is and if you want it louder then chop the res off later.
