  1. Stu.. love the calipers.. i want blue on mine.. you do them yourself? what was the process? are they after market lexus stickers after the paint job?
  2. Welcome to the forum buddy.. and may i say you made the right choice picking a ISF. i did a lot of research b4 buying mine, had allsorts of debates against C63s RS4s and M3s.. but at the end just like you loving toyota, i been bought up by my dad who is a retired Toyota loving Mechanic. also the guys on here were very helpful with their 1st hand experiences. but apart from that, i wanted something that's not common, smoother than the competitors with Luxury and Power.. the ISF ticked all the boxes. ive had mine for 2 weeks and love it.. i know its still a new toy, and the excitement might ware off, but atleast i wont wake up one day dreading a common problem like the other German cars. just make sure all the service is there when you get one. apart from that i honestly cant knock the car. make sure you do post some pics when it arrives. btw very nice Supra.
  3. I was on the look out for a white one for about 8-10 months before seeing one advertised. I know I have a white one now, but to get hold of white one was almost impossible, one needs to be very patient if that is the colour one wants. funny enough i saw 16 IS-Fs in the trader last fri and now there are 9.. i think more and more people are on the look out for a good ones.. that's good news for current owners and im sure they will hold their £20k+ value for a fairly long time yet. I stand corrected, there are 16 atm.. mobile app not correct.

  8. Tbh its not a issue at all.. just something to look into i guess.. like I said the the stock ride is still much much better then M3, AMG and RS4 I drove, don't think I want to mess about with the suspension . . .yet lol. Anyway off topic...just gave her a Autoglym SRP and now going to coat her with Autoglym HD Wax
  9. after owning it for a week today.. i can understand the slight firmness of the drive, that people mentioned in the pre facelift.. however its still smoother then a M3 and a AMG. but if i wanted a softer drive (even though im happy with it atm), would be as simple as a springs change or full suspension?
  10. not too keen on a pub meet.. but if their is a huge response then id come. car park anywhere else is good. i just realised where Basingstoke is...lol thats a mission from Brum... couldnt we do a northampton meet.. half way kinda thing lol.
  11. id be down for that
  12. im not far from sheldon.. and tbh i only drive it weekends.. weekdays its the good old Aygo lol
  13. the amount of looks ive had since sat and people asking "what lexus is that" im so glad i bought a ISF.. thanks guys for all ur advice.
  14. Right.. this is my review after driving it back from Hull to Birmingham. the balance of beauty and beast goes very well together, this car is a like a wolf wrapped in a sheeps skin.. its sleek luxury drive in normal driving style, and then you have the otherside that just produces this amazing pull like a train. i think the only thing that i think lexus should of done is to make the steering thicker, give that sport feel to the steering. apart from that i honestly cant pick a fault. Some people said about the harsh drive in a pre 11 spec.. i have come off a M3 and CLK sport, and i thought its was super. I have been looking at my Tablet thinking what else i thought was a bad point, and for the life of me i cant think of a single other thing. i aint taken any silly bends yet and have no intention to either, so i dont know how it handle around bends. Now i have found out what all the fuss was about when people told me to pick the ISF instead of other rivals. best thing is i love the way people were looking at the car thinking "what is that" .... priceless lol. but yeh.. every penny worth so far.. not a single regret.
  15. i have 2 mins as i have been up since 6am..and i want sleep... will post a proper review later.. all i want to say at this point is, this car is. . . . . . . . . . a F&$@in Machine.. i cant find a fault.. im in love.
  16. like to dislike or agree to disagree.. i mean we should be here praising this fella for such a brave project and pulling it off.. i have seen his other projects and admire his work. weather its IS front stuck to a GS back.. or simply a bumper change.. its his money and his work and his time and his passion. i just cant wait for the finished article.. and if there are any meet ups.. i want to meet this guy (stay away from my car though.. lol)
  17. I just want to know one thing... How the heck does your misses allow you to work in the house
  18. Finally after a long wait.. im going to pick up my car on Saturday.. I will post some pics and a better review off the drive on Sunday.
  19. Hold on to your IS-F guys lol
  20. I seen a white one in Brum a few days back and it looked awesome on the move. didn't have much of a poke around apart from the pics. I agree with Stu about the back.. perfect balance and styling, but the front looks abit... errr... how can I put it... like something is missing. in regards to the price depreciation I think Lexus might be wrong, like you said look at the IS-F, its still holding it value, but then again there were only 200 supplied to UK, so if there are more RC-F's coming to the UK then maybe it will drop, otherwise cant see that much of a fall. Personally I cant see the IS-F drop less then 20k over the next 3 years (subject to condition & mileage). but then again I maybe wrong. People in the US are already talking about the IS-F becoming a collectors edition. overall a good write up Stu.
  21. you got balls to do that.. and you know what you pulled it off...HATS OFF to ya.
  22. I agree Toffie_Pie i was like that.. the more you see the car the more you want it.
  23. Does 35 exactly count?! Lol. Especially given the extent of mods I've done to mine! ;) Plenty of younger owners on here chap. Had my first sports car at 19! ;) Nissan 300ZX twin turbo targa top! ;)[/quote was just curious to know.. because i always see these gangster wana be's driving M3's and C63's.. i think Lexus is more of a mature man's car. i think my ISF is going to raise some eyebrows in birmingham.. and im gona f=%_€£÷$ LOVE it.
  24. you and me both.. even tho its not long to pick mine up.. i cant wait.. im itchy n scratchy lol
