  1. If ur worried about tax.. put the RS4, C63 and M3 to sleep.. anything with decent performance and decent on tax i think would be Audi S3/Golf R/Focus RS (i love them), you have the likes of A45 AMG or even the M135i. Like u mentioned nothing as blistering like the ISF but i guess you have to sacrifice that powerplant for a modest 300bhp car for the tax reason. Would be interesting to see what u end up with lol
  2. Any decent bodyshop Should be able to blend the paint in after a snall repair, cant see it being more then a 100£ job.. well in brum i had a similar job done on my old Merc for £70
  3. Id be intrested if i still have mine, would like to see the difference between your mods v my stock Pete, how much bhp is yours on atm? (And whats mods have u done mechanically)
  4. Top man Pete.. keep us posted.. get some prices if your on the blower to them.
  5. Welcome buddy.. made a good choice with the colour ;) Mine has finally been put on the Autotrader :( I been reading alot into remaping on iSFs, and i dont think you can, i believe the addional ponys come from add ons, so if there is a remap available do let us know. Even though im selling mine it would be good to know for when i do get another some point in the near future. Hey Luke.. did u start the thread about this reg in july?
  6. Welcome buddy, nice car and great choice.. you wont be disappointed.
  7. was on ebay today and came across a grey ISF, he said it a Cad D and can be removed for £200 by a inspection from AUTOLIGN.. is that true? surely not! is it the same ISF that's was on AT a few months back? item number is 301716566939
  8. Yeh im gutted too.. i defo will be back no doubt.. hopefully if all goes well i be back in a ISF very soon. Still looking at options to keep her.
  9. I tell ya what is could be.. people googling RCFs and ISFs also pop up.. now people are think "hello" whats this.. 4 door Lexus with 417bhp.. looks like Lexus had viagra in 2008.. 😂 i got mate at work and he went to the japfest on sun just gone, he said to me if i had taken the ISF it would of stood out like a sore thumb.. its rare and people are starting to talk about them more and more.. 8yrs after producing the 1st. i will be selling mine within 2 weeks if my business inestment goes through.. so PM me if anyone is looking for a white one. Its done 79k lexus history with Lex warrenty till May. Rather give my friendly LOC community 1st refusal. I think i done free advertising for Lexus in Birmingham lol, people still ask questions and are amazed why they didnt hear about these, i do still believe they wont drop less then 20k unless its over 100k miles.. not because im selling, but because i was looking for a very long time and these babys dont budge.. the more people learn about them the more they will be in demand and the more they will hold value 😉 Lets face it, reliability over a German sports car.. Vosprung Deutsch tek it to the garage.
  10. Agreed MNMJ.. had M3 and m sports and audi s lines.. my ISF is better then the M3 and drives similar in stiffness to the s line and m sports with 18's.. overall ISF drives much better.. ive had mine since May Mrfurnex, u get used to it.. Brum is the worst for pot holes and i still manage to avoid them, and enjoy.
  11. I called them last week to book mine.. but now might be selling it for business investmets.. feel sad to think about selling it.. by far the best ive owned.. in th wise words of Arnie.. "i'll be back" but back on topic.. is the exhaust that loud? I watched stu's video and it seemed bareable hence why i called H&S.. on the other hand when u mess with the silencers your asking for noise... just enjoy it.. if its that bad.. tell them to fit the stock one back on after a few months post some pics and video maybe inside the car driving
  12. Hmmmm i might have to make a last min change.. bit of a trek from Brum.
  13. Back of your car looks like a mean mofo..lol great job.
  14. I know this is a long time ago, but might be help someone who is about to lower their car..click on my gallery and you can see my old IS220d sport which i had lowered on Eibach 30mm all round.. it cost me 300 from Demon Tweeks in wrexham that included the lazer tracking to put the car back near stock level, it was just right for my liking and drove very smooth, not as harsh as some lowered cars ive driven.
  15. Omg u lucky so n so.. id be car shopping if i was there.. couple of lip spoilers.. some coilovers.. some rear diffusers lol.. ok maybe not a few but one of each atleast lolBtw the hoverboard.. next level!
  16. I was also reading up on cold air intakes and this maybe irrelavent here.. but when one guy did a experiment on a ISF with a Takeda, Injen and stock intakes.. the dyno showed the stock intake to be holding the best bhp, 2nd was Injen and 3rd was Takeda. I was looking to change mine, but after plenty of reading up.. ive decided to stick to stock intake.. but i will look at exhaust mods, as they are worth the money with good gains. Dont get me wrong there are plenty of people at the ISF thread (here and overseas) who have after market intakes and everyone will have a story to tell. Must admit they do add a bit or grrrrr to the noise of any car. Personally i wouldnt do it.
  17. Slightly off topic.. but were can you get a decent lip spoiler from.. all of them are from asia or usa and cost a bloody joke.. anyone know of any european companies or uk based. I love this one.. think its simple and blends nice with the car http://www.lexonexclusive.com/catalog.php?bid=1&makeid=8&modelid=11&id=1
  18. Yeh bang on.. sounds good.. i might start to look into a little mod lol If you ever do get ur car on a ramp.. do PM some pics of the exhaust.
  19. cant really tell in the video you made under the car.. so let me get this right.. you had the front (1st) cat removed and new pipe work to the 2nd cat? and then new pipes from the 2nd cat to the silencers (box) sorry if I sound a little confused lol.
  20. oh OK.. I've listened to your a few times now and its growing on me :winky: .. tbh I think pete's is a bit aggressive for my daily drive (i say daily drive, only use it on the weekend lol), I dont want to lose the smooth Lexus, silent drive before hitting 4000prm. some details plz Stu.. how much did it cost where from any pics to show the system (under the car) do you have a video from inside the car (windows up), so i can get a idea of how loud it is.
  21. I like the sound of the 2nd grey one.. but im sure they are the same yeh?
  22. i think you should have a look at the link i attached of the Black ISF.. looks awesome with a black grill just noticed you did the F badge too.. i think you should defo peel that off.. you want the F to stand out on the road.
  23. quote name="Arqum" post="923333" timestamp="1438630754"]What did you use to paint the badges? Plastidip? I want to do the same to my black car but in two minds to if it will look good yep it was plastidip.. works wonder.. i actually saw it on a black ISF here, so i think it would look even better on black then my white. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-f-2008-2014/433995-front-grill-choices-for-the-is-f-thread-options-we-have-7.html ARQUM: if you google how to apply plastic dip on badges its so so easy.. it peels of the excess areas with ease, leaving a perfect finish, almost like its been painted.. and the best thing is, if you dont like just rub it off and peel away.
  24. always nice to hear positive feedback from you Stu. :D and your right, I didn't want to lose that factory colour theme.
