If you're looking for an F-Sport in Arctic Pearl, I may be able to hook you up when I buy the new one around November time next year :P
That model will definitely be on my short list for my next car, depends on mileage/condition/price etc., but happy to get a shout when you are nearer to changing yours.

The standard pioneer stereo isn't bad, the Mark Levinson is definitely better.
Damned by faint praise a little, the Mark Levinson sound system is awesome for a 7 year + old car, imho

Yep, never mentioned in the specs and looking at the current used Lexus vehicles most don't have parking sensors and the ones that do have them in different places where the dealer decided to drill the holes.
Proper factory fit parking sensors, as on the RX450h, are integrated into the vehicle so you have warning on the display/dashboard rather than just some beeper hidden away somewhere with maybe a third-party looking on/off switch in the cabin.
My 2008 400h SE has factory fit parking sensors. There is a warning buzzer with integrated green light built into the dash next to the mirror adjusters. The car also has an owners manual for the system. Definitely not dealer DIY.

It also appears that the younger audience tend to like these futuristic designs and the older folk keep complaining so I can definitely see sales growing, especially in the States.
I have to say, I think the new RX looks fantastic, especially the F Sport in white with red leather - and I'm seriously old :D

Thank you for trying to help, i did work out what you said before you replied with clarification, however, that didn't work. What DOES work is this:
Connect your phone to your car via bluetooth
On your phone, select "Contacts"
At the top right hand side, there are 3 dots vertically aligned, select that.
From the drop down menu that appears, select "Select"
Now on the left hand side of the screen, select the empty check-box next to "Select all"
At the top right hand side of the screen will now be 3 dots joined up together which make a shape like this <. Select that
Now select the "Bluetooth" icon (if you have downloaded bluetooth sharing apps these will also show, but the one i used was the phone's built in bluetooth functionality, the icon is a blue circle with a white bluetooth logo and is labelled "Bluetooth")
A list of available bluetooth devices is listed. Before selecting your car from the list, you will need to enter the menu on your car to "Transfer Contacts". I presume everyone knows where that is though. Once you have selected your car, the transfer will start. My transfer took about a minute.
I don't like Belgian beer, I will have a vodka and coke please :-)
Many thanks Luke, this has just done the trick for me with my 2008 RX400h. It took a couple of goes, but all my contacts have now been transferred successfully. If I din't live at the other end of the country, I would be only too glad to buy you your libation of choice.

Hi
This is a US Lexus online manuals site but suspect if there are national differences they'll be small - at least lets you get the gist.

Lots of interesting info here - thanks. Why the funk don't we have something similar in the UK

Having owned my RX400h now for nearly 12 months i recieved a letter from Lexus today with regards extending the Lexuscare warranty which is something i was keen to do, But after picking myself up off the floor i dont think i will as at £995.00 i think this is excessive for 12 months cover. I know if i have any major problems then it would be money well spent but hopefully a car which is just over 4 years old i would like to think it would be ok. Just wondered what every one else thought or is there any cheaper alternatives available.
Cheers
Phil.
Yes that is quite a lot, but then you have a hell of a lot of car ! So far as I am aware, you get a reasonable discount if you go for a two year package, if of course you intend to keep the car that long.

I am looking at the 3 cars below. At first glance the newest car seems the best deal. But what if my first requirement was to get the monthly payment figure as low as possible?
Just wonder what one you guys would go for and why?
Cheers

Those prices look a little high to me ! First off, do you really need an SE-L ? All you get over a late model SE is front headrest monitors and dvd player + air suspension. You can get the former by going for a SE ICE model.
I opted for a 350, but when I was looking for a 400h I got offered two 2008 SE's, both with under 30K on the clock and each one was under £23,000. These were from Lexus Newcastle - Steve Humble is the guy to talk to.

Happy New Year People.
I am looking to buy a used RX350 on a 07 or 57 plate. I was looking to get a vehicle with the Multimedia package option (DVD touchscreen sat nav / parking camera / Bluetooth and have a few questions that hopefully someone will be able to answer as I need to justify the premium price for this option.
1) What is the quality of the sat nav like and does it have full postcode search?
2) Is it possible to get updated Maps/ DVDs and how much are they?
3) Is the iphone compatible with the bluetooth phone system?
Many thanks
Hello and welcome !
I have the same car as the one you are interested in, so will do my best to help you with your queeries -
1) The post '06 upgraded screen and nav system are great, imho. It doesn't have full post code search and only you will know if this will be a problem for you. Save for looking for commercial premises without numbers and sports facilities on long rural roads, I haven't found it to be a problem.
2) Yes you can - for about £140. Cheap Toyota Parts is one of the best places to get them. Alternatively, if you go for a Lexus Platinum Care package for future services, you will get 10% discount from the dealership.
3) I don't have an Iphone, but I have seen several posts on here commenting on varying degrees of success with paring and functionality. A Forum Search for Iphone should provide you with some useful information on this.
I hope that helps.

Having successfully paired my HTC Hero with my 2007 RX350 SE, I would now like to transfer my phone's contacts to my car using Bluetooth. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any guidance on how this might be achieved in the phone's user guide.
If anyone with an HTC Hero has successfully transferred their phone's contacts to their car (preferably a later model RX), either en masse, or one at a time, could they please tell me how this was achieved ?
Many thanks.

I have just sold my RX 300 and am pretty sure that my next car will be a RX 400h. Whilst doing some pre-purchase research I read somewhere that the rear seats do not fold flat as they did in my 300. Is this correct, or is it a mistake ?
Thank you.
