  1. It's easier to figure it out yourself by trial and error. Or just trawl through a pdf version
  2. +1 for this. They were dealer add on and not fitted from factory. I had them fitted on the rear of my 2004 RX300 SE which didnt come with parking sensors
  3. That one will definitely be covered. Its not 10 years yet as its 58 plate
  4. Expect £300-500 off the Lexus main dealer example. The ACC/PCS is crap in older cars anyway, wouldn't buy a car just because it had that. Its just about getting there with new cars. Sunroof depends on personal preferences but again, probably wouldn't pay £2-3k more for one. If there was a £1k difference providing everything else was the same I'd get the silver one but Id be opting for the blue one and just slapping a Lexus extended warranty on it
  5. Interesting. Any reason as to why its tripled in price? I know that some places charge like £80-100 anyway. Having said that, its not something that needs doing all the time - if the AC is left on permanently, it should be OK for atleast 5 years if not more
  6. Saw that and yes you're right about the pic. It's a UX with LF-1 wheels. EV would make sense with toyota wanting to have 10 EV models by 2020. Would also explain why they've taken ages to replace the current CT and given it 2 facelifts The 2.0l hybrid is almost definitely going to be fitted as standard
  7. Mine was on 45k with 8mm left. They're 12mm when new and 3mm is end of life. Would have hit 100k I reckon
  8. It was not £45k last year. Was about £41K including metallic paint. IS300H F Sport Premier has gone up in price after the addition of the plus pack
  9. 50k seems too early. More likely to be something else. Have it looked at just to make sure but unlikely
  10. There are 2 running through BCA However, more than likely the dealers will snap these up pretty quickly
  11. For the 17 plate, the Plus pack didnt exist. So the Premier pack had premium nav, ML and adaptive variable suspension fitted as standard
  12. Any update on this? Just to add to this - its not the hybrid motor whine which comes on when lifting off the throttle for regen is it?
  13. Agreed, the IS250 is much better than a CT, as you can imagine as it costs more to begin with (or did at the time anyway)
  14. Cant be done. Voice recognition only comes on certain models. Its rubbish anyway tbh with you so you're not missing out on much
  15. I doubt they'll clay the car - its not something they do. They might machine polish it, chances are they'll leave holograms all over it anyway. Does the car have Premier pack? As that would explain the £440/ year road tax as the standard F-Sport won't go over £40k.
  16. Yes, it illuminates in the dashboard, also the HUD if you have it. And you can set it to vibrate or give you an audible alert instead.
  17. One of my friends works in the head office in U.S.A Unfortunately I received the pic over snapchat When its from him, I usually know its going to be something good but dont want to screenshot and post unless they decide to fire him lol
  18. I think the ES looks great - Ive been sent some photos of it in F-Sport trim and Id buy it on looks alone Its quite classy but subtedly sporty at the same time. Overall profile is similiar to the LS but has quite a low bonnet. The interior is very nice! Regardless of how it drives - the looks and perceived quality is certainly up there with the 5er and E-class if not better.
  19. No idea on how to do it but from what Ive read, you can only do it a little bit anyway.
  20. I still think the IS200t is better than the IS250 though..... . *Patiently awaits another essay of Linas' opinion* not that it really matters because this is an ES/GS thread
  21. They can cause intermittent noises depending on frequencies I had a car with Sunny tyres on a few years back and it would only make the odd washing machine noises at certain speeds and on certain roads, not all the time
  22. Fairly interesting article but doesn't confirm anything as such that we didnt already know. Seems like it is going for the 5 series, A6 and E class after all and will be priced as such. Linas - pipe down and stop repeating the same thing over and over again - if you wish to make constructive comments, then so be it but nobody really wants to hear your opinions every alternate post
  23. Ive been told the battery warranty keeps going after 10 years if you keep doing the annual hybrid healthcheck. I don't think many batteries have been replaced, if ever. Some vehicles have done crazy mileages especially in the states in the form of the Toyota Prius which is regularly used as a taxi over there. Think it was something like 600k on the original battery and still well and truly alive
  24. Wheel bearings tend to make noise when turning, not really on the straight. Commonest cause of the washing machine noise is budget tyres
