  1. Yep, front bumper, headlights and rear lights are all different. The massive wing would make me think it might be something aimed at the M4 CS
  2. Looks fine. Im pretty sure the front bumper is going to be pretty aggressive anyway. £100k plus - im not so sure. I have a feeling Lexus will be marketing an LC-F at £99,995
  3. On the 3RX maybe, but not on the 4RX. Its an 835 watt system on the 4RX ML system and by switching from a 3RX ML to a 4RX non ML, Im pretty sure the Pioneer 12 speaker setup is probably around that figure too. In fact, I heard very little difference in sound quality in the ML 4RX 450h that I had in the USA last week to my 4RX. I can remember it was the same with the 3IS too, I deliberately didn't look for ML because the 8 speaker setup is almost as good.
  4. Is there no equaliser on the ML version? The 12 speaker setup on the standard RX has an equaliser and once the bass is put to max it can shake the doors.
  5. Cant stand those stripes. Look so tacky. Would rather just have a nice clean mat to be honest!
  6. The seats are ventilated not cooled. Ventilated just means it lets through some air from the AC.
  7. Don't forget that under extended warranty they charge their full parts and labour price as Lexus UK pay for it. I bet if you were cash paying they'd do it for £300-350
  8. Too much paint will cause them to react like this though
  9. You can usually turn it off going through the menus. If the bumper was painted without masking it's likely that they've got paint on them. If it was removed and then painted, possibly not put back in properly
  10. The GS only became obsolete now. The ISC a while back. Using the IS chassis would have been just as simple as it's already being used on the IS!
  11. The question is what's the benefit? The RC didn't become a convertible and the GS and ISC are obsolete. Would have been easier to just make the IS chassis into a coupe.
  12. And I really don't understand why sometimes. The IS chassis is good for a coupe and can handle 470hp. Don't really get why they decided to make the RC from using the GS and ISC.
  13. Doesn't seem too bad. Better to own up and say the work was ******* than give you it back with it. They usually use a bodyshop that they know well within the group which will be near to one particular dealer hence the car will move around. Why don't you just ask for another vehicle bar the CT
  14. Just looked at the invoice on my phone and it was £23k 😂
  15. That's the standard one. The hybrid has a raised floor and there's no lip
  16. Yep £24k is a rip of. Think our 2 year old IS was less than that at a Lexus dealer with 10k miles 😂
  17. Just drive it like a normal car. Chances are you won't even realise it's a CVT. It's probably one of the most reliable gearboxes and oil doesn't need changing until at least 100k
  18. Yes you can. If you're putting 20" RX ones, you'll have to get lower profile tyres to keep the rolling diameter similar to stock. You'd need something like 235/50r20
  19. Fixed seats probably on SE. Our F Sport has the folding seats. I don't know if it's Advance and above grades
  20. You can stop the menu popping up by having nav on small screen and switching to something else like audio screen on the bigger screen
  21. Yep that's right. USB is normal paint. Azure blue is 5 layer. It's called USB 2.0 in the states hence the confusion, and heat blue in other markets. CquartUK is actually a very good underrated product. It's one of those that punches well above its weight in terms of cost so nobody really talks about it. Kamikaze coatings are good too. Don't really know about siramik as had no experience with it. But I mean if the detailer says it's good, it's good right?........right????? Or perhaps the best profit lol
  22. You should just not buy any vehicle 😂. Door seals are known on early models and been modified. I don't think this sunroof issue is known. It certainly not heard of more than once
  23. Some cars have been sent once for repair and the colour looks off in the lighting. Bumper cost and repair alone is £2-3k roughly at Lexus bodyshops The problem starts when the car comes back from repair. The colour tends not to match very well at all due to the 5 layer process. So sometimes the bumper looks darker or lighter. It's never the same as factory anyway. Anyway by the time it goes back and gets corrected or partially corrected, it comes back looking somewhat different too. Hence the cycle goes until insurance company decide to forget the aggro and write it off. 2 RCs I know of have been written off. I understand the LC is more expensive so this is less likely but hey...
  24. It's just a dealer add on. Their smart repairs on 5 layer paint will be rubbish. Doesn't mean they can't do it
