Probably quite normal and not heard when windows aren't open. These things do make a lot of different types of noises outside. Chances are there is nothing wrong.
The cross climates are good. They're not the bee's knees in terms of outright performance but probably the best in all round performance.
30k miles should be achievable, I even did almost that on an RX on OEM Dunlop's.
Would advise to change all 4 together though. Will be a massive issue if using 2 front tyres which are all season and 2 rear summers in terms of insurance if a crash happens...
I usually buy my tyres online and my Lexus dealer fits them for £12 Inc vat each
It's about 35.
But the point is, it's future proofed. So if I fancy an LS I can stick it inside. If I fancy a CT I can stick it inside. Nowadays they build houses and the opening can barely fit a hatchback from early 2000s. May as well just make it into another room than even bother
And I designed mine 9 years ago and it fits my RX, the IS, all the kids bikes, 3 ladders, a lawnmower, 4 bags of coal, 4 bags of rocksalt and it's still not full.
See the difference......?
The genuine ones seem to be best bang for buck tbh. The cheap ones are a nightmare to clean and look cheap whilst the more expensive tailored ones are around the same price.
Pretty sure they should be 36psi. Reset after filling up otherwise it won't give a warning as soon.
Then just leave it. You don't need to keep resetting every time you top up
Did they? Because I don't think the facelift has individual tyre pressures available.
You can add sat nav to any Lexus. Most dealers aren't prepared to do this so will just say it can't be done. Makes sense to me though, just get a car with a better spec.
Well that can't be true. The systems are all pretty much the same and I'm running a 64gb usb.
There are people in the states using a 128gb drive if not more but it will take ages to load the first time. I remember someone used a 256gb drive and it took 3 days to load and then was fine.
I'm pretty sure you can have up to 9999 files.
They change the spark plugs at 60k hence the cost is higher than the other services.
Problem with the 300h is, nobody will buy one without a full dealer service history even if you come to sell it in a long time. You would also need a £59 hybrid health check at a dealer to maintain hybrid battery warranty.
They've been on every Lexus SUV since 2015 and they look fine. The square ones are currently on the RX and round ones on the NX. I've seen people colour code them and they look so much worse
The new limited edition is Naples yellow with yellow on the doorcards. It had white seats with yellow stitching. Not really my cup of tea. Flare yellow is what it's called in other markets.
I'd still go for the base version. Winter tyres are available for all trim levels but are roughly £1000+ for a set.
Speed and gear lever position. Can also set it up to display either tachometer, audio etc.
I can't remember whether the NX one has LKA or BSM info. The RX does but mine doesn't have BSM
I think it's the area rather than anything. Smart repair can't do miracles unfortunately and the damage is too close to the grill to make it a good repair.
Some cars do get a full front bumper respray if really bad when sold second hand.
If its been on the motorway predominantly, it will have road rash as the paint is quite soft, not thin, but soft. There is a difference.
Any low car that has been sat on the motorway in the 1st lane will have severe road rash - the ones in the outer lane don't tend to suffer as much - ask me how I know 😛
On a car like the RC-F surely winter tyres are pretty much mandatory when the weather gets bad. You can somewhat chance it in a 4WD or FWD but I wouldnt chance it in a 470hp RWD coupe with fat tyres on it.
And then you have idiots taking it on the motorway in snow with performance summer tyres on....
Most dealers won't give you a part number. VAG don't either.
I'm not surprised it's exoensive. Probably just get hold of it from a breaker. Only IS,RC and GS ones will fit
