    Don't really see the point because from the one on the 4RX it just does what it wants to. Revs keep moving up and down unless flooring it or coasting.

    I was referring to the sound - they don't sound good at all. An M2 sounds better than the M4's - worth having a go if you get chance

    They have a lot of electrical problems. I bumped into an owner in York. He's had his 6 months but only spent 3 months driving it around. Issues with the alarm not turning off, some noises coming from the steering and decided to lose all of its coolant. Said he loved the car when it was working right and so far after he's had it back, its been flawless but the potential of something else going wrong is always there so said he would get rid after warranty ended

    Very true, but they also don't hold value very well due to reliability concerns - which in the case of the Giulia Quadrifolio are entirely true!

    Not a safe system in my view. Park your car on the drive, walk away... Meanwhile there's a guy hiding in your hedge who just gets in and has the kit to turn the vehicle on....

    US prices have been released. Most affordable Lexus in the US, but they no longer get the CT. The 250h is starting at around $35k with the IS starting at $38k. So hopefully we'll see a starting price of £27-28k here.

    Celestial blue is a new colour as well which replaces sky blue. I wouldn't worry about the rattles. The pre production LCs were quite bad too. It's a good looking vehicle. The price needs to be right though. £35-7k would be my guess for a good spec F Sport

    That's not true. The new MOT if failed cancels the previous one even if it has 1 month left. Previously you could still drive around if you had an MOT until it expired

    Well they usually have a few settings. If you press it it'll partly turn off and if you hold it down it'll turnoff some more. It's never really off though

    Yes its basically a money making scheme. They fail your car, you can't go elsewhere because of the new rules so most people will agree to it straight away. If you look at their rip off prices especially tyres and wiper blades, you can understand why.

    Usually the slip indicator will remain on if the traction control is turned off It resets to default when you turn the car off

    You can fit run flats on. Dont know why you would though, it'd absolutely ruin the ride. Unless of course you have the Bridgestone runflats which are supposed to be the best in the business for maintaining ride quality.

    Yes, its common on the IS. The OEM brake pads are quite dusty and as with most cars, the fronts do the majority of the braking so do accumulate more dust.

    Thats pretty much what I've done. They tend to do the service things first, any issues they sort before just slapping an MOT pass onto it I suspect its much more hands on that how Ive expressed it but hey, as long as it passes....

    Problem is once they touch the car its arguably criminal damage and you could sue the hell out of them even if there is no damage but you could argue that they've been reckless by moving it without keys

    Yep, its not as exciting as the concept, whereas the LC still looks fresh. I bet if you park both next to each other, the LC would make the BMW look like its from last century. £100k is a lot of money for a car like that - especially when you have things like even BMWs own M5

    Its very difficult to move a car with a trolley jack when its locked. The alarm will kick off and you know what the Lexus ones are like! They're loud because of the horn and dont stop!

    Any person with a single brain cell could work out it was the 12V battery from the symptoms that the car experienced.
