  1. Pretty simple to be honest. All you have to do is go on nav, select destination, and then go on the 2nd page in top right corner of the nav screen and click on postal code. Job done.
  2. Urm it's been like that for years with Lexus. You have to ask for hard copy manuals but they're free
  3. Need a new lower trim and grill by looks of it, if not a new bumper. Don't know whether they come separately tbh but Id expect atleast £500 if not more
  4. They're not national but dealer group specific. As Lexus Preston is part of the Vantage group, you can buy the plan from Lexus Leeds, Birmingham or Preston and use them at either
  5. OPs particular car will be on the mileage schedule, not the yearly schedule. Therefore I would suspect the last full service was a Full 60k which would include the spark plugs. OP just needs an intermediate 70k service with no additional work. Essential care does not include spark plugs - they are about £150-200 to get done on a 300h
  6. I need an EV for my wife. She only does like 3-4k miles a year, very short journeys for the weekly shop, school runs etc. Ive got a huge garage to charge it in so that wouldn't be an issue. The problem is, there is not a single premium EV less than £30k that doesn't look like an EV I want an EV that looks like a normal car, not have dodgy eco wheels or skinny tyres or wheels tucked so far into the bodywork you have difficulty kerbing them! I eagerly await the UX300e, hopefully its not £50k lol I bought our then 2 year old IS300h F-Sport with 10k on the clock for £23k. I would happily spend up to £30k nowadays for a 2 year old premium EV but the fact is there just aren't any apart from the BMW I3 and that looks ridiculous IMO
  7. Looking very good - I love that colour Any reason why you put C2V3 on top of BH DSW? seems a bit counter intuitive?
  8. If you actually listened to the whole review instead of listening to the bits you want to hear, you'll see he actually said yes
  9. Very positive all in all
  10. I expect it to be shown off in late 2020 with release in early 2021.
  11. Yes most likely. I know that Lexus do clean the engine bay before sale but they always use damp rags and an air blower, no free water goes anywhere near there. However, independent valeters have a nasty habit of putting the pressure washer in the engine bay so possibly
  12. I was just interested in the circumstances of the accident that's all, some may say nosy! Verbal ear bashing hmm? From you to her or vice versa? 😂
  13. Would suspect it may be due to cleaning of the engine bay and the water just pooling there afterwards.
  14. Interesting, unfortunately probably will be written off. Definitely dont settle for the first figure they give you though, On a side note, how do you hit a lamp-post thats not on the actual road? Did you drive directly towards it?
  15. The recent auto express review is pretty favourable too
  16. Ah makes sense. Try them again next year then I suppose
  17. The NA V6 is getting old in the tooth. They'll be wanting to use BMWs 3.0l 6 cylinder just to cut down on costs of developing their own 3.0l turbocharged V6. Only issue will be reliability so I doubt it would actually happen, despite toyota supra having the Z4 engine
  18. Surely you have more than 2 years NCD? Ive always kept mine protected.
  19. Thats paint cracking so I would assume yes, its been repainted in the past Fortunately, I havent suffered from many chips at all even after plenty of motorway journeys Ive found sitting at 60mph behind trucks to be the worst!
  20. Im not, they're absolute rubbish at night and cause significant glare. Downright dangerous. The VW ones without wires are the best ones.
  21. Generally speaking servicing can be done by any garage. Be sure to get a hybrid healthcheck done at Lexus for £60 though to give you 1 years additional warranty on hybrid components. I wouldnt really worry about the hybrid battery, it should last the lifetime of the car and on the 450h, Im yet to hear of a failure. The service plans cover the services. Whether they are worth it is up to you. You could get the Lexus essential care service plan which is cheaper servicing for cars over 5 years old.
  22. BH double speed wax is very nice to work with and quite durable. Having said that, maybe a ceramic infused spray sealant might be more up your street? Something like Adams ceramic spray coating or TAC systems moonlight doesnt require the same level of care when applying as a true sealant yet should still manage 6 months. Alternatively, Sonax spray and seal, or autoglyms new Polar Seal are very good if you're stuck for time.
  23. Has a lead foot not going to lie. And some of the journeys are very very short - i.e. 1 mile down to the father in laws, 3 miles to the shops then car turned off so becomes cold again and then back home. School run etc. Now when Lexus release that UX300e, it would be perfect for her driving.
  24. The title is a bit rubbish because Ive not moved - but my son has just gone from a VW Golf to a Mercedes C180 Coupe. I cleaned the Golf and put it up for sale at a fair price and the first person to view came to see it and took it after a whole 5 minutes of negotiation! So out with the old: And in with the new: So now we have all white cars in the household! Anyway, the problem is, im quite fond of the C180 after driving it. The engine is smooth and refinement is on par with the IS300h despite it being a 1.6l engine. Performance is undoubtedly less urgent but definately adequate for a 23 year old! Having said that, he's gone and had it remapped to 180hp and 310nm of torque (+24hp and +70nm of torque) and apparently it pulls pretty well now! Seems to be doing about 40mpg at a steady 70mph too so no real complains. Whats quite eerie is the car feels very very similiar to the IS300h to drive. The handling is about the same, the ride is EXACTLY the same, the quietness is the same and oddly, front and rear tyre sizes are the same too. Hmmm, lets see if its as reliable shall we?
  25. There is but I just use the normal petrol one. After all, its the engine that the fuel goes into, not the electric motor!
