  1. The range doesn't go down anymore than the distance travelled like any vehicle. And it's quieter than a 250h as a fact. The tyre noise is only more apparent as theres no other noises coming and besides, it's no worse than a 250h regardless. The 300e is almost as quiet as an RX on the move
  2. And feels like plastic too. I'd know my c class has it
  3. The artico is crap though. I've got it in the c class and its so thick I would be surprised if it cracked in the first place
  4. Its because of the way the power comes. The NA engines have always had very linear acceleration whereas the S4 you mention has a lot of torque down low which makes it feel faster. Its the torque that youre feeling. A similiar reason to why any electric car feels rapid despite what their 0-60mph time is
  5. It was Lexus Bradford who did mine. They've since stopped trading and everything has been transferred to Lexus Stockport and Bolton
  6. It was quite similiar to yours. I wouldnt feel it whilst driving, it was mainly on idle. They replaced an injector and I had no issues since
  7. I dont believe the UXe has OTA updates either. I think its more a change in how connected services is interacting with the vehicle
  8. Potentially Something definitely changed with it as it started doing it about 1 month ago. Did not happen before this.
  9. On some cars it's draining the battery as it's not turning off properly as it should. When I tested my car, the battery was still being used almost 4 hours after turning off. Once the connected services was turned off the drain was very little in comparison
  10. Do the latest RC have connected services? We found the battery was being drained by the connected services in our UX300e. Wouldn't hold charge for 2 days! Turned it off and it's been ok since
  11. Faulty component. Like I said, Lexus heavily subsidise the unit. Mine happened when it was over 7 years old. Cost £500. The car didn't cost me anything further so I'm not massively fussed
  12. They do know this. They're not stupid. It doesn't work for when the unit is actually dead.
  13. So after turning off connected services and parking up the car for 3 days it started fine. Im sure thats probably whats been using the battery whilst the car is parked up. Ive left it off and informed the dealer that I think its the connected services completely draining the battery and theyll pass it onto head office
  14. Those are injectors - think they were changed at around 20-30k. Mine is also a 2016. I had the same. Vibration with shuddering when cold and also when warm. Lexus swapped out one of the faulty injectors and it was back to smoothness! That background rattle is direct injection fuel injectors - thats normal but amplified as the microphone is so close to the engine bay.
  15. Yes I've had the same issue. 4 days at most for me. It's going flat very quickly. I've also stopped connected services and it's been fine today but obviously got driven yesterday. Will see how it is for a while now
  16. What were the circumstances? Seems to be going almost every 4 days from what I can tell for us. But apparently Lexus is aware of the issue so I wonder what they'll do about it. Probably a software update. I'll try disconnecting Lexus connected services and see what happens
  17. Not in 2 days though surely?! Seems to be a recent thing as well. Left it for a week over Christmas and it was fine so seems to be something going on not entirely sure what
  18. First problem with the UX recently with 1.2k miles It wouldn't start. 12v battery showed 4.8v. Charged by AA and took it out for a 5 mile drive. Come back and used 3 days later and it's fine. Then took for a 15 mile trip on Sunday, a 4 mile trip on Monday and today the car doesn't start again Battery showing 7v this time. Not entirely sure what's going on as theres nothing on inside the vehicle when it's locked. The UXe 12v batteries have been discontinued so nothing available either.
  19. Theres not much that goes wrong with the RX in general. Parts are fairly expensive mind I think if you buy one with a good service history, and bypass the highest specification models with the air suspension, then youll be fine.
  20. Between 3-6 months dependent on specification and whether its in stock or not. Son and daughter in law have just ordered a VW Golf for her about 1 month ago - very high spec and they're saying July/August for that one so Lexus lead times arent too bad On a side note - not sure about those arches being painted. Looks a bit off
  21. They've probably been kerbed but yes, they're not exactly easy to refurb and cost a good chunk more than a normal refurb. I saw one a whilst back that had a similiar look but had been diamond cut. They looked quite good.
  22. We've got both but that's exactly the reason. The RX is the main family hauler. The UXe is my wife's to buzz to the supermarket and school runs whilst also giving a hefty tax relief! They're both different and I wouldn't swap the RX for one. The NX isn't much smaller to be honest. If you need to downsize ideally you need to be looking at something Tiguan or Q3 size. They're slightly bigger than a UX but smaller than an NX
  23. If you're driving it 2 miles down to the supermarket, turning it off and then turning it back on and driving 2 miles back and parking it up for 3 days, it probably doesn't matter how many journeys you do. It'll still discharge eventually. Our IS300h was driven somewhat like that and the battery started playing up after 4-5 years. My car is fine as I do around 8k a year so it gets regularly used
  24. Never had any issues with power delivery. The car was recently tested on Autogefuhl at full speed on the autobahn. I don't think there's any inherent problem with the car. I think Fifth Gear need to be more transparent with what they actually did to the car before they started filming
  25. I'd definitely take a few more pics for us to see including a close up. When I first saw the pic the rear door looks almost like sonic white rather than f sport white
