Don't carry a seat as big as that!!! Besides, in a few months they can go in a front facing one and it's not as badBasically the car seat manufacturers say 2 years. That's total bull****. You should only put the baby in a rear facing seat until they grow out of it. My daughter was 1 and she's been in a forward facing seat since Admittedly she was in the RX which is huge in the back so it wasn't bad

Still love how the seat and steering wheel move upon start up and shut down. Makes getting in and out much easier

Let's not forget Lexus runs on regular gas in the US and the engines are the same so they would probably run fine on 87 octane if available in the UK

A lot of people have problems with wheels but I never had anything after 8 years and 55k miles. Washing often is the answer personally. I imagine these cars are usually driven by people who don't wash their car for 5k miles and you can imagine what thatd do

That's not strictly true. Although super unleaded is higher octane, some brand do have a lot more additives insid compared to their normal counterparts. Examples are BP super unleaded and Shell V Power

Mine was a 54 plate SE. Nothing went wrong in 8 years of ownership. Only had its recalls done. Didn't even have corroded wheels as I was very careful with them and I know that's something most complain about

Yes. My dealers are Stockport and Bradford. Bradford staff keeps shifting around from brand to brand so don't have much knowledge on the products. I don't really mind as I don't really need to ask them as I usually research on here. Stockport on the other hand have staff working for 8 years or more so have a lot of insight into the vehicles

No need to seal is an amateur mistake, no need to feed yes, but the top layer still needs sealing, hence why leather was stained in the first place. Gliptone twins aren't the best imo. The cleaner is somewhat rubbish at anything other than very light dirt and the conditioner softens the leather but also attracts dirt. Basically dodo juice leather cleaner (tried and tested, similiar performance to Dr Leather advanced cleaner but much cheaper) and the dodo juice sealant is enough. However, I can't see why you can't use a conditioner under the sealant to soften it and not attract dirt. I've written a whole guide on this in the detailing section if interested

Although I have an RX I seem to leave it in Sport mode constantly now. Drives much smoother than in normal with practically no lag from the transmission

General consensus is it doesn't make any difference performance wise unless your ECU can adapt to it which I highly doubt Usually the only reason to use it is the additives which will keep the engine clean and the car will feel smoother over a period of time, about 1 year of use on every 4 fills

Only saw 2 BMWs and 4 Mercs but no Audi's or Jaguars.

There's not a huge difference between IS 8 speaker and ML setup. However on the NX it does make a difference and it's due to the clari fi system which really does work

I agree on perception. A lot of people highly regard Jaguar and expect a lot from one, maybe it's because it's British?! But I do feel they skimp out on interior quality, XE, XF and F type all suffer from tinny feeling interiors especially door panels and lack of padding.

Hey hey hold your horses buddy!! The NX F sport is now available with ML since October!!! But yes, I'd say it's worth the extra £1k. It sounds great when you tune it right in the settings and you can literally hear the clari fi working. I had a back to back test and it is a good system

Well how can you assume the rear vents don't close without fiddling about with it then? Just because there's no knob you can't assume it doesn't close without using it can you? The manual is also available online for free and you did say "I guess my biggest complaint is........" Perhaps I'm being overly critical but that's what I do for a living so there you go.

Never had problems with it. However I have the reversing camera and it's reasonably good Having said that, I had an RX300 before in the same shape as the 400h and never had a reversing camera. I didn't have any issues with that either as I had parking sensors fitted
