    Mine weren't when they were done by the dealership. I meant by the insurance companies because usually they are third partyUsually they are sent away by the dealership to their own or someone else's bodyshop as they don't usually have them on site. My wheels were sent to RRG bodyshop in Bolton by Lexus Stockport to get them done

    Better than white though ;) Nah don't like it. Looks super dull. The white stands out. I'm surprised there's no azure blue or red available Hmm seen as though I'm out of the country, could someone check the spec on the White/Red F Sport's the dealer have? They seem to have a pan roof but I can't tell whether they have ML and HUD. Might just grab a demo model in a few months as I know it's going to depreciate like a falling rock

    My rain sensing wipers work great on the IS, on the RX not so much. On the IS I have them on medium and they come on exactly when I want them to. They also wipe on startup when the windscreen is saturated with water but it's stopped raining My RX on the other hand refuses to wipe a saturated windscreen unless it is raining at the time and therefore needs manually operating on those occasions

    All Lexus F Sport/F wheels are sent away. Have you ever used the wheel insurance?

    Whilst this may be true for silver wheels good luck on finding a colour similiar to F Sport wheels. Toyota phantom grey is close but even that sticks out like a sore thumb up close

    It's working as designed. I wouldn't worry. The fan will stay on even if the heater is on

    I think the length of the beam is due to the lower design of the car. On my RX the length of the LED beam is great and outshines pretty much every other car on the road to the point of people moving over on motorways at night almost immediately. With the RX I can imagine it won't dazzle other drivers as much as the beam will be set lower to get the same distance due to the lights being higher in the first place. On the IS if they put the beam higher, it'll dazzle other road users.

    With regard to the reversing light, never had a problem as the rear LED tailights are plenty bright so bright up the area pretty well. The reversing camera helps when on a brighter setting too

    Doesnt apply to RX as much as its not direct injection. Also petrol cars can burn through pretty much anything but I know for a fact supermarkets use crap fuel as diesels are more sensitive and the merc had problems with supermarket fuels. It'd have issues at around 3k rpm

    Those rimblades aren't going to work. Your essentially sticking a rubber tape around the rim which, on seriously low profile tyres is not going to protect anything but 1cm around the wheel The alloygator ones serve their function as they stick out atleast 1cm rather than the 0.2cm from the wheel in which case the standard IS tyres will fare better BTW take a look at those wheels, they have a vertical lip!! The IS doesn't have a vertical lip so it's not going to stick out properly Also take a look at the tyre on the Fiat, it sticks out as much as the rim protector does so I can't see how it's help much.

    Yes let us know how it goes and what brand it is. Although stone chips aren't problematic on the RX, my wifes IS is much lower so stone chips are always going to happen at a greater frequency

    Depends on the ppf you get it seems. Reviews seem to be far more positive than negative. You just need to be sure the film used is of good quality and robust enough. Still, at 70mph any rock is going to leave some sort of impression in the paint

    Although all reviews say "OMG BMW drives better" in day to day driving it won't make much difference. You'll get more for the money with a Lexus and it'll probably be more comfortable too

    Are you being daft on purpose? Sticking these onto the edge of the tyre will simply cause them to fling off, hit someone in the head, another car or fly off into the distance The tyre is deflated, these are then put between the bead and the rim to ensure they don't fall off at high speed.     Jason, that is fair enough and it depends on the individuals needs. Some dealers dont have washing facilities on site so they have on site valeters who take on all work regardless of whether it's a wash/vac or full valet. As long as the owner of the car is happy that's what matters but I think OP has either been taking it to a auto wash, backstreet hand wash or has been using incorrect technique

    And don't take it to Lexus for a wash, they have a brush car wash in their service building!! Only take up Lexus on valets as they use other companies who are quite keen on looking after cars but again it depends on the dealer (mine is stockport and their valet lads are great)

    All Lexus paint is soft. It's not thin, it's soft - there is a difference. It's actually put on quite thick from factory. Essentially don't take the car to a car wash and don't wash with brushes. Lexus dealers cannot help you with this. Best way to protect is a ceramic paing coating such as cquartz My car is a 2012 and it's in perfect condition. If you look after the paint and take care of it it won't scratch, honestly is that simple. My guide is in the detailing section should you need it

    I wouldn't recommend the ppf. Leaves pits in the paint which look just as bad

    You don't want those! They look awful and alter the bead of the tyre.They deflate the tyre, stick these in and then re inflate. A few people on other forums have had trouble with them as they ruin the ability of the tyre to hold tight onto the rim and result in sudden and spontaneous deflation. Risky business in my eyes

    I can't remember half of the stuff I got taught when taking my driving lesson. Frankly a re test doesn't prove anything. Older drivers will just take lessons and go back to how they drove normally Like all tests, it shows how good you are at faking/learning to drive properly, it doesn't show that you WILL drive that way. Take a look at all the Taxi drivers who reverse into main roads, undertake, go over the speed limit by a great proportion, park pretty much anywhere to pick people up etc etc.

    It struggles on hills in eco mode. In normal it's pretty sluggish up the hills and makes way too much noise. Not to mention the mpg goes from 35-38 straight to 20-21mpg Overtaking requires too much effort and planning in the NX300H, the 200t is better in this regard.

    Although well built I do think the LS is well out of date now. It's switchgear is somewhat ancient
