When I asked this question of Lexus Guildford was told there is no national Lexus UK database of servicing history. If a car has been serviced by a dealer within a group that history may be available but the various Lexus groups do not share to a common database. Hmm come to think of it the two dealerships I use are in the same group. However I'm sure they can just ring up and get it if they want to

Haha hate sonic T but what the hell lol I've got a tracker on mine. Think it was £600 altogether including lifetime subscription. It saved me £200 in the 2nd year and lowered insurance by £50 each year after. It doesn't work out cost effective but my insurance company refused to insure the car otherwise and it would have cost me more in cancellation and buying separately

Nice choice sir; that will look very nice I'm sure. I agree - this isn't about 'conformity'. I don't care what others think, but I am interested in their opinions (most of the time...) so the RX wasn't a difficult decision to make (I've had two of the previous versions interspersed with an Alpina B3s Biturbo and a CLA45 AMG. My other half loves the comfort and serenity afforded by the RX, but I like to 'drive', so we alternate between drive and luxury as it seems to prevent long term ear-ache!) Although I've not had the RCF long, I've had it longer than my previous 2 vehicles (M4 / AMG) and I'd have kept it longer, but the RX spec and colour we like is on the boat now, and with a first year service and a £495.00 VED bill right behind it for the RCF just around the corner (and the guys at Lexus offering me more for it than others would have you believe as well as a few integral and 'very nice thank you' sweetners...) irrespective of offers and discounts, the deal is right for us, and she's over the moon (serious brownie points boys!) so why wouldn't you? :winky: The saddest thing is a function of the state of our roads and traffic conjestion; my average speed in a vehicle capable of so much more is only 28mph! I only drive a short distance to work, and rarely use the motorway, affording me an average fuel consumption of 19mpg, so looking at the cost of fuel, VED and insurance, getting a new RX will provide me with an immediate £2,300.00 (approx) annual saving = 1 week in Barbados, so job's a good'un! Yes they can pull the service history of a Lexus with FLSH from their database. You can expect it to last 200k but point blank it won't. Therefore best to avoid.

Be aware that in some countries bumps are not regulated like in the UK so the Honda Accord will hit. I'm having issues with this hyundai in that it hits bumps and all sorts so by the time I give it back it's going to be knackered

Could be that garages are using wrong alignment specifications such as the new GS or older GS specs. Could even be something like over tightened wheel nuts on one side or something wrong in suspension or steering setup

The vents are somewhere near the C pillar but directed towards the rear passengers. Also as above I wouldn't leave a car closed with a dog inside.

Although I think the RX would be able to handle it (currently typing this from India) the Indian roads would lead to a lot of unnecessary stress on components. The hyundaI verna I'm driving has just lost its power steering at 40k miles :(. Good thing is its cheap as chips to sort anything out here. I'd be looking at something cheap like a pajero or toyota hilux personally

Make sure you're tyres aren't nearing 3mm or less too. When my RX450H was on 3mm at the front the traction control light would come on at every turn and stop Eventually I changed tyres all round even though the rears had 4.5mm. The fronts were at 2.3mm at this point and it was getting borderline dangerous lol

Yes it will cure the air loss problem. Essentially what you have is some corrosion where the bead meets the rim and that let's air escape. If you have them refurbed and powder coated they'll be back to normal

Lexus dealers tend not to get them alot. Much more chance finding one of the facelift models privately but even then they'll be rare

Avoid the air suspension as it overcomplicates the car and can go wrong with big bills. The standard suspension soaks bumps very well anyway
