  1. The £25k seems about right as WBAC put into BCA closed auction expecting to sell at around £27k and the dealer would add about £2-4k on top so it'll be sold for around £31k. As soon as you take it off the forecourt itll lose a chunk and it will have 2 owners.
  2. Pic of the range IMO is the F Sport. Most ex demos usually have the premium nav and leather seats anyway. I personally think it looks the best out of the all the trim levels
  3. Windsor blue and Black Sapphire pearl is the same colour. All Lexus paint colours are called different things in Europe and America. For example: Arctic Pearl = starfire pearl Velvet black = obsidian Graphite black = caviar Sonic white = Eminent white Mesa red = Matador red Azure blue = Ultrasonic Blue 2.0 Solar flare = molten pearl Mercury grey = Nebula grey Windsor blue = Black Sapphire Sonic Titanium = atomic silver
  4. No issues at all. Its a great car - you definitely won't be disappointed.
  5. I think the limiter in the GS450h's case is to prevent damage to the hybrid components, not to do with top speed. It can probably manage 155mph like the new one.
  6. What are the wheel and tyre specs at the moment?
  7. Not many people have them fitted - dont really know why you would want to TBH. Just another method of getting children to throw up in the back seat. The idea is, they'll be oblivious to their surroundings whilst the semicircular canals and utricle (detects horizontal acceleration) in your ear are going crazy as they know you're moving, yet the eyes are on the screens. Will eventually end up giving anyone motion sickness.
  8. How do you update it again, just download it to a USB and then?........... Also does the USB have to empty of other content?
  9. Black sapphire pearl is correct. It looks blue due to the blue flake and hence, the "Sapphire" in its name and it looks like this: The code does not lie lol
  10. The handbook says 10k miles for private buyers hence, do it now. No 2 ways about it really.
  11. Yep, they usually have contact with trim and leather repairers anyway
  12. Thats fair enough, sounds reasonable to me.
  13. Whats happened there then?
  14. They'll sand it down and make it smooth, then add some liquid leather and texturise it. £100 max, it won't even be noticeable.
  15. Having owned both VW Passat and Lexus, I can say that the Lexus leather is extremely soft and therefore does require some care compared to VW leather which is harder. What you've pictured is not uncommon on the IS and thats because the seats have decent side bolstering. If you get the car from Lexus, insist that this is taken care of beforehand, it'll prob only cost like £100 if you get it done but they'll be able to do it. To be honest, most cars with decent seats and soft leather will result in this - look at any Audis with super sports seats with the nappa leather, it practically rubs off in that region. Having said that, its MORE common on LOW MILEAGE cars. This is because low mileage cars usually get driven in town and therefore previous owners have been in and out more than on a higher mileage vehicle in most cases.
  16. Looks awesome! The best thing about it is that it looks like it came from the factory. Whats next then? The dashboard piece around the nav screen? :P I wonder if the black IS-F one would fit.......
  17. It was at a normal bodyshop the £150. They had to refill the whole right bumper and paint it along with the mirror so £100 sounds about right.
  18. As mentioned above, just the rear bumper is different and of course, its a manual so the interior will be slightly different depending on whether you have the auto IS250 or manual
  19. Shouldn't be more than £150 for sure. I got my friends Jag XF done for £150 and that needed a mirror painting, and the full right side of the bumper doing due to a scrape
  20. Quite easy to sort out I think. Shouldn't be anymore than £100-150 really. Looks like it might have scraped a high kerb or something
  21. What are you wanting it to do? The NX is a step down from the RX, both in terms of price and pretty much everything else. Im going on the basis that you're talking about the new RX? When you say inspiring, what does that mean? The NX or RX's, whether 400h or 450h aren't supposed to be inspiring
  22. I believe it probably affects a batch of RC's. Providing not that many have sold in the UK, its unlikely there are a lot of cases, and if so, I suspect theyll probably be on demonstrators only. There might not be anything wrong with the seal itself, it might be the glass thats shorter in width than it should be leading to the problem. You can definitely reject the car on the basis "its not fit for purpose" as it shouldn't be letting any water in. The dealership have to accept/reject it, not Lexus UK. Another option would be to try another dealership?
  23. Use the back of your hand, it's easier. And remove the headrests too
  24. Took a look at the RC300H and RC-F when at the dealers to book service. Armed with a credit card, I tried shoving it in and it didn't work - both had no gap in between. I suspect that Lexus doesn't actually know what to do about it. They could replace the seal and I dont really understand why the dealer won't do that already?
