  1. Personally I dont think the GS-F looks that bland really. With that huge grill, the orange calipers etc, it looks just right IMO, similiar to the IS-F right now i.e. apart from the front grill its "almost" a sleeper car, as long as you dont get the orange, blue or red of course. But then, its a GS-F so you may as well go for a crazy colour. Pricing between the RC-F and GS-F is not much different. Considering the RC-F has £3k discounts going at the moment and the GS-F has £9.9k off, the GS-F actually works out better value for money as it has ACC and TVD as standard
  2. Yep, an option on the IS - I had them on my RX300 as Standard fitment. They were pretty awesome tbf
  3. "If a defect is found after 30 days, but within six months, buyers are entitled to request a repair, replacement or refund. The law assumes that the fault was there at the time of delivery, unless the seller can prove it wasn’t " You had the car more than 6 months then? Which car did you go for? Honestly have to say, that is shocking customer service from Lexus. Ive never had any issues whatsoever and the RC's Ive been in have been fine, no different to the IS300h in terms of road noise, maybe slightly more due to tyres but not wind noise definitely.
  4. Depends on whether you need the space Personally Id go for the IS300h F-Sport over the NX300h SE as I dont think that trim level does the NX any favours.
  5. Very Nice! But then, I am a bit biased! I was thinking about tints myself but decided against it as I like seeing the red seats from the outside contrasting with the white paint Lexus Bradford are great arent they? Who did you speak to? Lee? Ive had a few Lexus vehicles since 2004, I bought an RX300 over an E240 back in the day and have been with Lexus, specifically the RX since! Now my wife had a Merc C220 CDI since 2006 and when it was time to change, no prizes for guessing what she decided on!
  6. I think the GPS time is supposed to tell you how long itll take to get to your destination right?
  7. Id presume the boot space is roughly the same or less in the RX400h. The reason being is that the rear hatch is quite sloping compared to the C class estate and the RX focuses mainly on rear space for passengers. Ideally id be looking at something more boxy like a LR Discovery if you need a lot of cargo space.
  8. Agreed, get it done to the new version if you don't have it in there. It's much better than what came on the car
  9. Its sales BS, doesnt work at all, in fact, my RX is 4 years old and has less swirls on it than the IS does. Go for CQuartz if you're planning on getting a coating - one of the easiest ones to use IMO and lasts very well!
  10. You mentioned you have an RX F-Sport though? If you were fussed about ride quality surely you should have gone for the other models in the range rather than the stiffest one?
  11. I dont think you can play music via USB from your phone but Ive never tried it. Im not familiar with the phone you mention but when you plug it into the USB, does it show different options such as "Charge only", "File transfer" etc? You might need a software update to sort the bluetooth issue out.
  12. Depends on what software you are on now, you should be able to find it under Setup
  13. The RX ran 26k on front tyres so I'd expect around that much for the NX too. I changed the rears out at the same time though, they had about 4.5mm on them.
  14. Everything apart from the dealer customization such as window closing etc
  15. All the other cars are making me dizzy almost like there's a silhouette of them slightly higher than the cars themselves! Maybe it's just me ha!
  16. If its a first car id be saying a VW Polo 1.4 tbh. He's going to prang it somewhere guaranteed
  17. I feel like ive got Vertigo looking at that picture! How did you manage to get that effect? lol
  18. Lexus paint is quite soft. Having said that the Arctic pearl on my RX seems much tougher than it should be going by the previous Lexus vehicles Ive had. The F-Sport White paint is almost too easy to scratch - a fingernail will scratch it. The good thing is it doesnt take long to sort out even with a simple hand polish whereas BMW's are a PITA to polish up.
  19. 29.5 psi is seriously low. The tyres look nearly flat on 32psi. I run 37psi and I actually find the ride better than on 32psi for the F Sport.
  20. Personally I think Black with Black wheels looks a bit too much black!! Will be a ball-ache to maintain as well considering the soft Lexus paint! You cant do the split screen on the basic nav, only available on the Premium Nav. Premium nav also gets you the nav screen instructions in the centre between the dials. Its because the basic nav is simply an add on to the standard system so its not integrated whereas the Premium nav is integrated already. I hope they gave you a good deal as brokers are giving huge chunks of money off - circa £5k!
  21. Can be done through aftermarket - I believe Delphi has a system that does it. I wouldnt have thought you can retro-fit the Lexus one though.
  22. Not many people tend to go for the ivory interior because its more high maintenance (not the material but because you can see dye and dirt on it) . Black is very common for this reason
  23. Cars at £25k can be sold easily but it depends on the car. £25k diesel Q5 S line? No problem. £25k E220 CDI no problem. £25k BMW 3 or 520d no problem. This is an E200. A petrol at that. Colour combo won't be an issue if it's white, black or grey with black interior but the main sticking point will be it's a petrol with not much torque in a heavy car. It's pretty much a GS250 without the V6 and in a different suit
  24. Not heard of that one but you reckon it's the leather on leather that's causing the noise or the leather on plastic?
  25. Thats very odd - would have thought its under the Setup button on the centre console or atleast somewhere in one of the menus Might be under setup and general settings if you have that?
