  1. They do! Except Audi and BMW owners turn it off lol
  2. They gave you a £5 discount? I thought the prices were fixed now?
  3. Thats all well and good but there are plenty of cars out there so going for 1 with less that its fair share of service history is just odd right? Unless of course, the price is playing a factor, then that would be different.
  4. Its not a colour code. Colour codes are 3 digits. Thats a colour number, i.e. only the factory knows it, in other words, best to give BBS a line
  5. Its not that bad - been on it twice and it was fine, Id say go the M25 - its only an issue if you start doing 100mph on it as you WILL get hit with a multitude of speeding cameras
  6. Sure she was a technician and not the receptionist though?
  7. Sounds about right. I get about 30 on short distances. Quoted figures don't mean much anyway, it's just a game of who can manipulate the mpg test the best
  8. Best way is to set the sat nav, then just follow it lol. What's so bad about the m25?
  9. To be fair, some owners say "62 plate IS, the F version" referring to the IS250 so that could explain it
  10. Maybe it's just me but they look lighter than this
  11. The original ISF wheel colour wasn't that dark. What's happened really is that there have been lots of cars with refurb and they've changed. Should be this colour
  12. It's a close match but I wouldn't paint the whole wheel with it. Go for BMW Ferric Grey, it looks pretty good
  13. You could turn off the motorway option as it'll take you on motorways if it really has to anyway. Keep the motorway option off and then keep going on the motorway until the exit you want to go to
  14. The thing is, there are so many RX450h available that A) why would you bother and B) welcome a stupid price come selling time?
  15. Go for the michelin latitude tour hp and leave them on all year round. they're all season tyres anyway.
  16. Hmm still you shouldn't be getting any water marks. Using an open ended hose after rinsing shampoo off helps as water sheets rather than beads and then you have less to dry.
  17. Well yes the prices will go down after official release of the 2018 CT. But until that time, the prices should stay the same and therefore are irrelevant unless you're going to buy later on. Should be between £7.5k to £11k dependent on spec, mileage and whether it's a private/dealer sale. I certainly wouldn't pay more than £11k anyway as there are some 2012 ones with 30k for that much
  18. My answer to your original question would be - Yes, if the price is right (as with all things). The reason being that you want to make sure you get a good deal as you have to realise that come selling time, not many people will be looking at cars with higher than 100k on the clock and will be more hassle to sell. You will also get some stupid offers if the car has high mileage. This does happen anyway but itll happen more so with cars exceeding 100k - people will be wanting it for nothing. Parking sensors are easy to fit so dont worry if it doesnt have them.
  19. Water marks? Do you leave the car to dry naturally?!
  20. The diffuser is fairly straightforward to get and fit. Lexus and toyota dealers can get it. Those aren't tips btw. It's a whole exhaust system. The is only has 1 pipe on each side coming from the backbox. The trd has 1 pipe which becomes 2 but looks like it's not an add on. Very expensive too and not worth it
  21. No you're confused - the RX was originally on Dunlop SP270 from factory. Had Michelin latitude Tour HP fitted which are M+S rated. They're better in every category including wear (and I dont mean just the ratings but the feel of them too). Therefore I was just pointing out that "All season tyres" are rubbish statement is not fully justified - it completely depends on what tyre it is - the Michelin cross climate tyres are the bees knees, revolutionary in fact. Almost like the new Bridgestone run flats that have just come out
  22. Yeah the 50hp is sales BS lol - need to get it on a dyno to test that out for sure!
  23. Odd. No stale smell here. Someone once told me it happens if you leave the air con on when you turn the car off, no idea if its true or not lol
  24. Fuel consumption has got better actually - the tyres are quieter too. The standard fitment were Dunlop SP270
  25. All season tyres are fine. They certainly are on my RX. They're actually grippier than the standard Dunlop summer tyres in wet, dry, hot and cold conditions! If you don't get much snow you're better off with all seasons than winter tyres. The michelin cross climate tyres are awesome but I doubt they come in your size.
