  1. Its Canada actually, not the US
  2. 1) hit or miss, some cars go loads of miles with air suspension, others dont. 2) Doesnt make sense replacing good parts 3) £1-1.5k is about the norm 4) Get a service done, no point getting MOT done. Reason being - that if there is an issue, the MOT will show as a fail, whereas a Service should point out any issues. Also, the MOT doesn't check as many items as the Service does, its just to ensure your car is road safe thats it.
  3. It doesnt look like that :D I know......
  4. The Advance specification has the reversing camera. The standard navigation is pretty much the same basic navigation unit - the only difference being connected services, 2 speakers and the reversing camera (but you get this on the Advance, not on the others though)
  5. Definitely worth it IMO. It looks and drives better. Having said that, its probably worth going to the dealer and driving them back to back.
  6. I think you'd use it for setting off in 2nd rather than engine braking in slippy conditions
  7. Theres not a huge difference between the ML and the Pioneer 8 speaker system on the 3IS. Therefore, I would have to say that the ML is a bit of a waste of money if you're going to add it on
  8. Why not? its not exactly a bad car and AFAIK, its being made into an SUV anyway
  9. Used it once for engine braking - but thats it. Not really worth having them, just a bit of a gimmick really.
  10. Like it's been mentioned before, the 2nd gen csme in 2003. Considering it takes 3 years if not more just to design a new Lexus, designing would have begun in 2000. Do citroen even test their cars? It takes ages just for testing and I don't doubt that Lexus spend a lot more time doing that than Citroen do. I believe the man in charge of the 2016 RX said that designing started I'm 2012 so I would say although the RX400h is relatively new, it's actually a design that was thought about in 1999 What do you mean by indexing? My 05 RX300 would lower it's mirrors when put in reverse.
  11. To clarify, my son's VW Polo has the Efficient Grip on them and no issues whatsoever. Soft sidewall though, so they will look slightly deflated even at the right pressure
  12. The wheels aren't just sprayed though from what Ive been told. They stick them in an oven for a few hours - I presume its because they're powder coated
  13. I would go for the advance model as it has the reversing camera and leather seats
  14. They need a full wheel refurb as they wont be able to match the colour so you'll see the blend in lines if they only do that part
  15. Either - choose the one thats cheaper, I doubt you'd notice the difference between them anyway
  16. Ill be honest, I havent heard a good thing from any citroen owners- apart from my joiner who uses a Citroen van to carry wood in!
  17. Id stay well clear of a Citroen to be honest - huge piles of junk.
  18. Should be covered under warranty no question
  19. You probably wont get any deals as such - they only seem to give them out when you buy a car now
  20. Not true anymore - service prices are becoming fixed now although some dealers have got the message much earlier than others. By the end of this year that transition should have finished. The benefit of the service plan, in my case anyway, is that its monthly interest free, no inflation, I get 10% off parts, Free full valet every year, free puncture repairs for me and any other car in my family and a courtesy car. Of course, I dont worry about the price too much as it all gets filtered through expenses anyway so would roughly cost the same as going to an independent overall
  21. Exactly the same as you would have paid without a service plan (providing there's no inflation). Intermediate is £195 x 2, and full is £345 so it'd be a grand total of........ you guessed it........ £735!
  22. Batteries will fail at some point but not sure how they can say it's normal wear and tear. For example, if an engine blows at your age and mileage, they wouldn't be able to say "normal wear and tear this is" would they?
  23. Agreed, the M5 is a dog of a road - worse than the M25 at certain points
  24. Theres no official statement saying how long it should last. However, referring to their 10 year/140k limit on the warranty, and nothing explicit saying that the hybrid battery is not covered, then I would take it to mean that it is DEFINITELY covered. I would go into the dealership and make a fuss TBH as they're trying to have you on.
  25. Apparently they've been fixed since June. The supplying dealer and my nearest dealer both quoted the same price - no discounts available and not allowed to offer them anymore apparently.
