    I believe the GS is being replaced soon after the LS. Both will be on the newer platform and use the new infotainment system from the LC. The facelift models has the latest infotainment system from the RX which is much better than the ones the non-facelifted ones.

    Most likely the wind noise is just because there's crosswinds on a windy day. You shouldn't really be getting much in terms of wind noise, its one of the quietest cars in its class

    I believe those headlamps are only available on the Premier grade. The F-Sport and below get auto high beam but they aren't adaptive i.e. dont move around like the lights in the Premier

    To be fair, they have a point, our roads are of better quality than US roads and it only takes 8 hours to get from Edinburgh to Plymouth. I bet the US feel that they get more ripped off, firstly because they have to make do with nuluxe instead of real leather on some Lexus vehicles and hybrid variants of the RX, NX and GS in particular trims have only really been introduced in the past year or so.

    Yes. The ride would be improved by 16" wheels. The CT has a harsh ride compared to some cars in general though and it's probably the harshest riding Lexus bar the F models

    Does it really make much of a difference if an IS300h one turns up? Yes, you might not be able to rely on the technical bits to do with the engine but all the tech and functionality of the car will be exactly the same

    Visit a good bodyshop. Doesn't look like much work - maybe £150-200 worth

    Mechanically the engine, transmission and hybrid batteries are exactly the same. Its more in terms of better interior quality and materials etc.

    It has sensors and a reversing camera for both auditory and visual cues. It is a big help practically as sometimes you can just not pay attention and keep reversing regardless of seeing how close the car is behind you on the screen but its the change of beeping that makes people stop!

    Yes the cars has parking sensors all around and a reversing camera (take a look in the middle above the rear number plate, its the black box) TBF sometimes if you keep nagging them for a week, they'll take more off if they realise there's no other customers for that particular car. The rims are knackered in the pictures but they've probably been redone already so dont expect a discount for those.

    Get free service pack done as part of the hassle. You also realise you dont have to pay the excess if someone hits you right? Only if you hit them!

    The GS is a better built car no doubt about that - however, it doesn't sell that well in the UK compared to the IS and thats why prices drop more readily on the GS. Its a big car as well, most people don't need something that big and the interior isn't THAT much bigger.

    Should have a reversing camera. Price generally seems OK for a dealership - dont forget they stick £1-2k on top of private prices and typically only move £500 on price.

    Black wheels are the worst IMO. Show up brake dust pretty bad because they end up looking brown

    Black on Black on Black?! Wow gutsy! Whilst black interior is fine and fairly low maintenance, the wheels and the bodywork is going to make you crazy

    Well I dont have any pictures so that BS flag better be sturdy! I dont know of any 2.0 engines running two turbos and its nigh on impossible that itll come from the factory. Its a tuners opportunity though but more likely to happen in the US first of course.

    Judging by the reviews, some of the avon tyres seem OK. However, Id probably opt for Uniroyal Rainsport as they are generally quite cheap to buy but have great performance in the wet (which lets face it, is the UK for 8 months!)

    Very nice! Mercury grey with ivory interior sounds great. The sensitivity of the mouse can be adjusted depending on how you like it, same with the stereo! The thing with the stereo is that its source dependent therefore the radio will usually be rubbish and USB or CD is best IMO. You'll probably have to play around once you get the car. The power is dependent on the mode you are in, Sport mode should be better for getting that kick down effect as it keeps the revs higher.

    I thought it was a bit brash at first but its growing on me. The new LED lights look perfect IMO From a safety point of view its not a problem. The 4RX has the biggest grill in the Lexus lineup at the moment and it rated best for pedestrian safety in its class I believe.

    Definitely looks interesting and certainly 55hp is achievable from a re-tune considering the A43 AMG's are at 381hp. I was always told that the 200t engine was conservatively tuned from speaking to a few people and more for maximum life rather than performance. However, I doubt 300hp would have a huge impact on reliability and it'd certainly shift! A quick look under the engine cover of the 200t a few weeks back actually revealed that there's a "blank" space present where another turbo could be fitted as well which is something to look forward to if a tuner decides to release a bolt on turbo upgrade

    You should be able to get some from Ali Express I would have thought. Failing that, a trip to a car breaker who has an IS300h might be worth a shot

    Doesnt weigh anywhere close to 2.1 tonnes though does it? Besides, I think it must have been ragged. Doing 80mph on the motorway achieve 34mpg for me.

    As mentioned countless times, a reset is not necessary. From factory it's 36psi, it doesn't need changing. Just fill up the tyres and the light will go away on its own. The manual clearly states this.

    Ok so in terms of MPG you should see between 40-55mpg on the GS300H with those mileages. Service intervals are 10k miles or every year, however, I believe business users can have 12k miles or every year. Cost is £275 for minor and £445 for full. 60k and 100k are more expensive. Something to note is that these cars are easy on the brakes due to hybrid regenerative braking so its very likely you'll do about 70k miles on one set of brakes. Im on 42k and still have half left.
