  1. Unlikely. They don't put them on the floor anymore and should be putting them on a special horizontal pole next to the lift. They have 4, one for each wheel.
  2. Btw should mention that the figures are 0-100km/h so 0-62mph. RX is much faster there's not really any question. The new one does 62mph in 6s if brake torqued.
  3. Ah interesting. Does the RX and IS have shoes? The IS doesn't seem to suffer from it no matter what conditions are like but the RX does and the AA guy was talking about shoes when he tried to remove them
  4. Yep I agree. Would be a good addition to the current range and suits the current shape Id love to see a remake of the Sportcross as well
  5. I believe they do yes. That's what sticks, it's not usually the pads that stick it's the parking brake shoes. Hence, the front wheel are always fine!
  6. Hmm yh I think they should have just left it as metal as it would have provided a nicer feeling to the sense of touch
  7. Probably is metal then but it does feel slightly plasticky
  8. The original spec Dunlop's are dunlop sport 270 in 235/55 r19. I changed to michelin latitude tour hp as they are widely used in the states on the RX and they rave about them. I can see why as they are practically perfect. I think I got them for £123 each and £50 for fitting. I believe they might have gone up in price since then however
  9. Although in an accident you could argue that the other driver was not driving with due care and attention as you MUST NOT come into the path of a moving vehicle
  10. It's the standard F sport trim. It's machine look plastic I believe The naguri trim is real metal
  11. Yep im still looking but struggling to find one in the right spec and colour combo. Might have to wait until March when they start offloading stock to make way for the new plate
  12. Yep, I personally don't think it'd look right on an F-Sport. The Naguri trim is lovely though. Feels like stroking a lizard. On a side note, £4254 seems to be the best discount on carwow.
  13. Not had any issues with Lexus dust caps. Some plonker stole my RX OEM dust caps so got some from Kwik Fit - bog standard metal ones. Still no issues and its been a few years. I find they seize if putting them on too tight TBH. You only need finger pressure to put them on. Also, acidic wheel cleaners are a culprit as well - essentially dont take your car to the local car wash if you have metal caps on.
  14. Does seem like the tyres from what you are saying. 3mm will lead to poor traction anyway so you would get some spinning in the wet but it could also be due to an alignment issue. However, most likely its the tyres - what have you got on at the moment?
  15. You might be in luck if I decide to sell :D Still looking for an ex demo 4RX though!
  16. I believe that Halfords do replacement glass mirrors but unsure on whether they would do an LS mirror
  17. I would have to be honest and say I am a culprit of this behaviour. Its not something I seek to do actively but there are certain situations in which it occurs. For example. cruise control on the motorway at set speed in first lane. Middle lane hogger driving along under my cruise control set speed. The options I have are to either undertake and prove a point or go all the way around. I prefer to choose the first option as hopefully itll knock some sense into the plonker and get him to move over (does actually work most of the time). Another scenario would have to be on a dual carriageway or a motorway where a car zooms past you, then realises they are going significantly over the speed limit and slow down to slower than cruise control speed. but won't actually move into the left hand lane
  18. I would say the most expensive one. Only got 2 quotes yet and the cheapest is £3700 off list. Another 3 and I would say maybe £4200 off for the F-Sport with premier pack Also got confirmation of what is included in the Premier Pack: Leather Seats (Front Power Adjust Heated & Ventilated with Memory) Mark Levinson® Sound System with 15 Speakers 10.3” Lexus Premium Navigation Naguri Style Aluminium Inlay (I believe this the trim on the GS F-sport and is textured) Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) Blind Spot Monitor system with Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
  19. I also agree, 35% looks perfect.
  20. already got a quote and already asked! Probably will get a reply in a bit. Its looking like £4k off list but only one of them has sent an offer. He tends to be the more expensive one as well so I think the £5k discount can be achieved.
  21. Well Ive asked for a quote on Carwow so we shall see what pops up. I think AVS might be included in the Premier pack as well.
  22. No not the pricing itself. About the specs. Im assuming the £6250 is correct but Id expect that to have everything in it including premium nav, leather seats, mark levinson etc. The brochure still isnt available online! However, Ive taken a look at Carwow and you can't configure the premium nav or leather with the Premier pack which suggests that the premium nav and leather are included in the £6250 - separately would cost you £4k anyway. Sunroof isn't included in the premier pack so I can only assume that mark levinson, rear cross traffic alert and blind spot monitoring are also in there.
  23. I wouldnt rely too heavily on the website - they always get things wrong on the configurator. Worth waiting for the new brochures to come out and go from there.
  24. Yep the pricing is out of date. The price was increased this year due to the pound losing value. BTW the same discounts apply on the facelift i.e. £5k off list
  25. makes sense, has all the bits in it - fair price IMO.
