  1. It's got noticeably less power than an RX400h. The whine on acceleration is quite normal
  2. I got rid of them on my IS300h with no issues over owning the car for 8 years!
  3. It's easy. Heat one corner with hairdryer to soften the glue and then just pull. Don't heat all of it up because it'll leave glue residue everywhere whichll need cleaning up. Much less messy when you just heat up a corner.
  4. Doesn't have memory seats that's why. Certain trim packages and levels will have them. I believe it needed the takumi pack to have the memory seats
  5. The brake squeak at low speeds is quite normal for a lot of cars with massive brakes on it. Never had any issues with the phone calls If youre having to accept t&cs everytime you turn the car on its not paired to the car - go through the process with your key touching the power button. Also no judder - its smoother than my RX450h
  6. Most likely you would only have cover from the Arnold Clark warranty for the time being until you have the next service done at which point it will go back to the Lexus Relax warranty. Lexus dealer should be able to tell you exactly what its had done.
  7. Realistically it's not going to impact the car that much. But it's annoying that they said it was a full service history. I'd try to get some kind of compensation
  8. Working for me as well on android
  9. I dont think you understand how the healthcare system in the UK works. That private company bypassing the NHS costs approximately 1.5 times more than what it would cost the NHS otherwise. Same cost to the taxpayer it definitely isnt
  10. Well what else do you suggest they do then? If they didn't agree the doctor strikes would continue to increase. They got to around 1 week in summer and the hospitals couldn't cope. Imagine the state in winter if a week of strikes went ahead. Nowadays in Yorkshire a tiler takes £45/m2 making over £1k on an average bathroom which can be tiled in 2 days of full work. Down south its more sometimes hitting £60-70/m2. When you have some of the most educated people in the country earning less than a tiler would surely there's something wrong - which is why strikes occur in the first place
  11. So you suggest they pay the most junior of doctors £14 an hour? And 5 years after they've completed the degree they're still earning £25 and hour which is less than what plumbers and electricians charge yet people wonder why they go to Australia / Middle east / USA where you could earn double/ triple the salary. Either way if it wasn't for junior doctors who actually run the hospitals there wouldn't be any pensioners..... 22% is incorrect by the way. The media has made it sound higher than it is as it includes the £1000 one off payment and the 6 % last year so it's actually not a 22% increase on top of what they're on, it works out 22% in entirety over 2 years which is still a bad deal. 35% is not unreasonable when your average Junior doctor can't pay a plumber or builder amongst the fees to pay GMC, defense unions, student finance. The alternative would be to privatise the whole system, doctors would make a killing and patients may be better off in some circumstances
  12. Likely due to something else Unless you're pressing the parking brake 10+ times a day it shouldnt cause any issues. More common culprits tend to be new footwear
  13. I would think the mirrors are the same across many other models including the RX450h and the NX300h of the previous gen. Might be worth just checking.
  14. I mean, all the stuff you mention wouldnt be covered by warranty anyway. In most marques, anything suspension related is basically wear and tear. The corrosion at the bead is usually due to acid wheel cleaners / cheap car washes.
  15. There isn't one
  16. I'd unplug the rear cam first and see if that helps. If it is - just remove it. If not then unplug both and see if it's helping. At that point you have a choice to either forget about the radio and continue using the dashcam, try one of those magnet things you can attach to the cord or unplug the dashcam completely
  17. Turn it off. Well known to cause issues with radio across other brands. See if it makes a difference
  18. I'd try unplugging the dashcam or turning it off first. Nextbase in particular have caused issues with radio signals
  19. Have you got a dashcam?
  20. Its a rare occurrence. Not heard of it myself. Has the windscreen been changed before?
  21. You have to read the policy very carefully when getting these insurance schemes out. I would have been inclined to send them as separate marks one by one to be honest
  22. That's the one we have. Drive the deal is the broker we got it from. Almost £6k off list at the time.
  23. Maybe a little late to the party but we ordered a brand new golf in 2021 - received in 2023. No issues reliability wise. It's a great thing to drive. The reliability issues were all software related and based on 2020-2021 models. The new ones are not bad.
  24. I got 16k miles from my 4th gen. seems better on 5th gen
  25. Sounds like the head unit is blown to be honest. I'd put the old screen back in and see if it works again first
