Its part of the T&C's. Relax is only 12 months from the date of the last service and the service has a 1 month/1000 mile leeway. So basically if you book the service even a day after then it's not covered. Learning point noted. I'll be booking the service a day in advance from now on at the very least, the only reason I had it late this year was because I went on holiday!

It's in for a service and mot now. Passed the MOT no advisories They're saying the front tyres have worn on the inside. 1.5mm between outside and inside. Tyres were only changed 2000 miles ago and the set that came off were evenly worn all across They're also suspecting an offside rear wheel bearing. The advice they've given is change the front tyres, alignment and change wheel bearing and the noise should go. The Relax apparently doesn't apply because my service was on 5th Jan last year and today its on the 10th 🙄 £1400 down the gutter. Oh well. As long as it fixes the racket I'll be happy.

So for the past 2-3 weeks Ive started noticing a strange rumbling noise in the RX450h. Its just ticked over 52k miles. No vibrations or funny noises at idle and no lights on the dashboard. Seems to be worse at 50-60mph and when letting off the throttle and theres a very faint vibration that can be felt in the carpets. Its doing crap MPG too. Normally at 70mph its doing 30-35mpg, Ive not got any more than 24mpg out of it now! Any ideas?

Its usually more the driving than it is the car Every car will get stone chips if sat behind a truck at 60mph on the motorway....

Why Lexus is yet to break into the UK mainstream
rayaans replied to Roger Bill's topic in Lexus General Discussions
I think there's multiple factors. A number of people count the German brands as more premium. Only we know they aren't. The other issue is the lineup. There's no hatchback, no rwd saloons of C class or E class size for example. At the end of the day, the ES is still almost 5m long and it's seats don't drop. There simply isn't enough choice for different types of buyers. -

rayaans replied to Saaj's topic in Lexus UX250h / UX300h / UX300e Club
It's genuine. Plenty of forum users have used them in the past. Some for very expensive items You might have to pay customs but it'll be like £40 at most I reckon. -

Yes of course. The results matter but only so much. I didn't see enough effort from the England team or their manager. I don't believe a team should win by flukes or luck but it does happen. I certainly don't think England deserved to go any further than they did. These are international players with years of training and experience. They literally don't do anything else but play football for a job. Harry Kane isn't a 21 year old playing his first world cup match and should have scored. Literally got handed to him on a gold plate. I'd expect him to score, the same way id expect a doctor to treat me appropriately if I'm unwell

Bit late but... Poor effort from England. As per usual half the interesting players were on the bench or substituted with 10 mins left and Harry Kane seems to like shooting pigeons. Harry Maguire on the other hand thinks he's playing a friendly match crossing to another planet. Saka was tactically taken down by the French that he was essentially handicapped and Bellingham is training for the Oscars. Overall France looked a better team. England were quite clearly hesitant in their gameplay and plan. Let's not forget these players train for years and years and get paid millions. Harry Kane missing a vital penalty is unforgivable at this level

Its horrendous. Worst car Ive driven and Ive driven a fair few. Got them twice as courtesy cars when my car went into Lexus for repair. The X-shift gearbox is a motorized manual and its very jerky. The car itself is extremely slow to the point where its dangerous and the engine is very unrefined. Id also be weary of the size of the car. Its so small that theres no real useable boot and any accident more than 40mph with another car is probably going to be fairly catastrophic. Im not joking when I say my son's previous very old 2006 VW Polo is a better car and I would suspect the Honda Jazz is too -
Thought it was a rubbish match to be honest. I don't think England showed anything more than beating a weak team. Senegal looked drab, dont think half of their passes even went to their own players. I do think there's a lot of hype over England, pretty much all the time but they seem to scrape through in the euros and world cup against pretty weak teams. Their groups always seem to be some of the easiest.

It's quite clear you've never read the finance terms and conditions like many people on this forum. It doesn't matter what dealers make you believe, it matters what's written down in the fine print. Simple really. Yes but you didn't buy from the other dealers did you? You bought from a specific dealer who probably has no relation to any of the other dealers who did honour the offers for their customers

Its definitely a runflat. The car in question looks like a Mercedes C-Class which is fitted with runflats from the factory. I should know, I have one of the same generation. I removed the runflats from the C-Class and it absolutely transformed it. It was harsh on the bumps, made a right old racket when changing lanes on the motorway going over cats eyes. All that has disappeared, not to mention it no longer skips on tight turns.

Its only been a week! I think the fact that they've given OP a loan car to drive around in whilst they're sorting it out is acceptable. Any other manufacturer they'd say "well there's the deal and heres the contract, so take it or leave it". I wouldn't really be surprised if it takes 2-3 weeks to sort things out.
