No, certainly not - but the point is that most people just don't see them for one reason or another - mainly because they are covered up with fillers.
If they pay for a detailer and give a good deal, I would take it. It won't just be better than new as supplied by most dealers, but better than new full stop.
I believe an owner had his LC500 detailed on here - it was new and untouched - was covered in scratches despite not having any prep at all.
