  1. Yep it's their new flagship SUV which will sit above the RX. Most likely to have an electric or hydrogen powerplant
  2. How am I supposed to know they're a ladyboy lol - unless you go to Bangkok fairly regularly I dont think its much of an issue
  3. Its like that on all the RX's Not a bad design - more like bad driving.......
  4. I believe Lexus only charge £250 for all 6 doing. £150 for the 4 cylinder engines so not much of a saving really. So you bought a 71k mile vehicle with only 6 service stamps?
  5. The definition of gender is being male or female. Male = of or denoting the s*x that produces gametes, especially spermatozoa, with which a female may be fertilized or inseminated to produce offspring. I dont think cars can fertilise each other - would therefore have to say they don't have a gender - but I mean everything exists in the mind so if you want yours to be a girl then so be it. I find this whole gender debate stupid and utterly ridiculous - we've become a society scared of saying anything in case of offending someone. I prefer to keep things simple - a male is a male if it looks like a male and a female is a female if it looks like a female. If they want to identify themselves as something else, then they better let me know or I'll probably end up offending them all day long Give it a few years and someone will probably start a trend of identifying themselves as a kangaroo.
  6. Sounds like short trips or town driving with lots of stop and start where the engines not fully warm so stays on. Cold weather won't help either.
  7. Only one in both my cars as well - all the wheel locking nuts are the same on a particular car.
  8. 64gb should work fine. Its the larger capacity USBs that can be a problem, more specifically 128gb and 256gb ones where owners have issues. TBH the issues are more to do with how long it takes to load the USB rather than playback problems
  9. Well OK then if you really want to be pedantic- it only applied to manufacturer warranty and not extended warranty. extended warranty is subject to terms and conditions. One of them is that Lexus main dealers service it.
  10. I've had all sorts of daft things though. Some people are like "one of your fog lights is out" when its sat with a turned steering wheel
  11. I believe that's only true on manufacturer warranty ie the warranty that comes with the new car. It does not apply to extended warranty
  12. Urm the only reason it's 8 in 2014 is because the RCF demos were registered then. The press got all of them. Carthrottle and autoexpress ones were 2014. The majority then started being registered after 2015. TBH the main reason BMW sells loads of 4 series is because theyre mainly diesels, bog standard spec is cheap and loads are in fleets. I mean the 420d is on nearly every company car list. The RC was never meant to be a huge seller in the UK anyway.
  13. I believe the F-Sport has sound actuators which pump noise into the cabin from the intake. Its the V6 noise rather than the inline 4 noise that I love - and becomes quite addictive
  14. Looking at the pictures - thats a bumper replace job but the rear wing looks repairable. Exhaust will probably be checked and fixed. If its not right, it'll be replaced. Light needs replacing obviously. If its non fault - I would take it to Lexus and push the price of the claim up - you'll have to pay £250 or so non approved repairer excess but Lexus tend to replace parts rather than repair them so you may have better luck with their repair centres. Of course, all the parts will be genuine as well. Wouldn't be surprised if Lexus put in a quote for £3k though.
  15. Probably because US is a bigger market and also because we don't get the enform system here. I believe the Amazon Alexa is only available on vehicles with the Enform 2.0 system, so everything LC onwards including vehicles that have been facelifted since then
  16. Maybe but totally irrelevant because its not coming to the UK
  17. Shouldnt really be coming off. Looks like moisture may have gone in and caused it to remove the glue. Dont really know what else to suggest than removing it and resticking it back on making sure to check for any leaks etc. All purpose cleaner or carpet cleaner would work well enough
  18. Not really but it doesn't look like anything special from behind could just be an updated 6 series for all I care
  19. Its all on the Lexus website - just google search Lexus Servicing and it should come up - scroll down and the checklists is there. The official Lexus service checklist doesn't change air and pollen filter but for some reason, my RRG service plan has it included for no extra cost along with free puncture repairs in the family, 1 free full valet each year and 10% off parts. I presume the Lexus official checklist is just the minimum standard of what needs to be done - dealerships will do what they usually do i.e. change filters if they usually change them or just inspect them if they usually inspect them
  20. The LS and LC look epic! Others aren't too shabby either. How are you finding the IS300h compared to the NX300h you had previously?
  21. No don't think its an MOT failure but was just thinking in general terms If you're backing up out of a parking space, nobody knows!
  22. Probably the fact that you're noticing more. Additionally, as cars get cheaper, they become more common amongst the masses.
  23. Someone's definitely been fiddling with that. Not safe imo
  24. 0% would be the answer. Won't look like that at all.
  25. Won't work - its labelled as clear plastic scratch remover. This plastic is coated and also has some flake in the plastic so it sparkles when the sun hits it. The product will just make the whole centre console dull. In other words, I would NOT be using any kind of abrasive on that plastic thats for sure!
