  1. Are they Eibach spacers? They do say 30mm per axle to will add 15mm each side.
  2. I have a factory nav unit but would love to change it to a touch screen tomtom, any idea if it would be possible?
  3. Have the slider pins been checked?
  4. Hi, £240 delivered. They are on special offer from Motorsport World.
  5. Look for an IS300, same as the IS200 but with a 3.0 engine just under 220 bhp as standard. If you still wanted more then you could turbo it and easily get over 300 bhp if you have the money.
  6. After driving to work and back today I am very happy, the ride is firm but not bouncy or crashy, body roll has been reduced a lot. I fancy front and rear strut braces next, would love to do the ARB's but the best price I have seen is £280 for Hotchkis, a little more than I want to spend really. Thanks for the comments guys. Dimitris - what did you feel was wrong with the H&R Bilstein combo? I would be looking at Bilstein or Koni if I ever uprated the shocks.
  7. My H&R springs arrived yesterday, I managed to fit the back yesterday evening but then had to drive the car to work with just the rear low :P Here is just the rear done Then today I finished the front, I think it will settle a bit more so hopefully it will level out. Not even drove it yet so I couldn't tell you what its like, the rear didn't seem too stiff, after reading the spring rates I had been quite worried. I'll let you know tomorrow what it's like after I have been to work and back.
  8. Whats the other site you were looking at?
  9. I see. You have a lot done to yours, ever put it on the rollers? Whats the Megan downpipe like? I was looking at those.
  10. Trouble is I don't want to make it really any louder or too un-comfortable, I wouldn't mind added induction noise but with full exhaust and cats removed i'd be worried about it getting loud. I'd love to go turbo but I know how much that costs having done it before to a Civic, also I'd no long be able to afford the fuel to get to work lol. What's the throttle spring and cable mod?
  11. Thanks for the reply. I looked at the K&N kits but they are £260, its a lot for small gains, A re-map would be around £400 or more too. There really is no cheap power increase :(
  12. Anyone heard of this before? I was looking round some American sites and I came across this http://www.swiftracing.com/SRT/item.aspx?id=2 Would I actually get any gains and would it work ok on my UK car? Thanks
  13. I was thinking that too, my Dads 2005 GS430 also says not effected.
  14. Nice one thanks, mine isn't effected. I'll check my dads GS430.
  15. Mine is a November 2004. Even though we haven't had any problems yet should we still take the car to the dealer or just wait and see if it is ok?
  16. Ah thanks, I think I might have used the wrong conversion. Here are what Eibach and H&R gave me. Eibach F = 50 N/mm R = 42 N/mm H&R F = 62 N/mm R = 49 N/mm
  17. Ah I see. Thanks for the write up mate. I'll adjust mine once I'm lowered.
  18. How did you adjust them? I'm lowering mine soon. I paid £67 delivered, didn't get stung for tax either.
  19. I'm fixed at last. Got a the sensor off the ebay seller listed above. I opened it to check before fitting and it was perfect. That light has finally gone from my dash.
  20. Well after hours of searching and comparing I have finally ordered some springs. I have gone for H&R, they should come next week. In case it helps anyone else here are the spring rates I managed to find. Make Front Rear lb/in Stock 245 210 Tein S-Tech 274 212 Eibach 285 239 Hotchkis 265 186 Megan 300 250 Tanabe NF210 296 234 Tanabe GF210 342 262 Tanabe DF210 269 216 H&R 353 279 I'm quite worried that the H&R are very hard compared to the others but I'm also sure they won't have messed it up. I'll report back with pics and a review once they are fitted.
  21. Ah ok, I'm hoping to sort mine in the next couple of weeks. I'll get some pics up once its done.
  22. I just replied in the other thread lol, thanks for the review on the teins, look like they are a good shout, back on my list now. When do you plan on fitting them to your IS300?
  23. Hank how do you rate the ride on the s-techs? Some people say they sag and are very soft. Height looks good.
  24. I can fit them myself with the help of my dad so I save loads there. Coilovers would be too harsh for me, I'm too old for that lol. The H&R kit looks nice but very expensive, as is the Tanabe kits. I have emailed Apex to enquire about the spring force of their kits, will see what they say. For the money it could be worth a go.
