  1. Has the ignition system been checked? It's impossible to diagnose with fragments of information.
  2. Anyone else heading over from the South West?
  3. ...well... I'm going? 😄
  4. This weekend - so giving this a nudge to the top 🙂
  5. I'm assuming thats because the Android Auto interface will override everything else - so although you can have both plugged in, it won't see the USB on Android Auto.
  6. Was there anything untoward before the issue happened? I'd start by looking at the coils, leads and plugs - years ago I went through a huge amount of standing water on the M25 in my LS400 and it refused to rev afterwards - just about got it back to my workshop, but it was very sick. We changed the plugs and leads, inspected the coils and everything was fine afterwards.
  7. Saturday looks dry? Friday night when I was going to wash it looks a bit....damp.... 😄
  8. Have you told them the assurances you were given previously? Was it verbal, or do you have an email trail?
  9. I'll be coming along too 🙂
  10. Only a couple of weeks to go! 😎
  11. Has anyone got a recommendation for an indoor cover? 🙂
  12. 🙂 Parts list for those interested, couldn't get a full price breakdown, but suspect it would be "lots"!
  13. Finally completed this morning! 🙂 Turns out the main issue isnt the side trims, but the one-use clips that retain them. (x10) The scuttle cover is sacrificial though.
  14. What we really need now is some pics! 🙂 😎
  15. TBF my LS400 used to hit 30-32 on a long run. 🤔🤪
  16. I have a feeling that in a few years a '500h in Luxury spec will be the rarest of the rare and quite sought after.
  17. I get the impression the 'h is a better long distance cruiser, if I was doing a lot of miles the mpg wouldn't worry me - but not having to fill up as often would be a factor. Certainly don't think anyone should be on the receiving end of any *****-take for having an h!
  18. I was in that sort of area, but not as far north - mine looks a bit grey in direct sunlight.
  19. NemisisUK is spot on 🙂 I had similar issues with my fathers RX when he became very ill. Chronologically the 12V tends to discharge before the hybrid capacitance pack becomes unserviceable, hence keeping it on a trickle charge so that you can go out and run her up every now again is the best option. I would still recommend taking the car for a drive if possible; it does no end of harm to any car to be sat unused - even if it's just a 10 mile jaunt it will help. (Stops seals drying out etc)
  20. True, but the 12v is the most likely to discharge - and without it you have nothing...?
  21. As above - look at CTEK trickle chargers, they are a great solution.
