  1. Feel for you OP, especially as frankly anyones circumstances could change from a pre-pandemic booking to now! (I'd also be giving a complaint to the insurer as well - what the hell are you paying them for if not this?!) Out of interest, did the online form immeadiately kick you out when you hit the answer - or was it after you hit a submit button at the bottom? ...if it's the former then that is insanity on their part!
  2. 2017 Black LC500?
  3. Fantastic looking LC! 🙂 Is that at hedge end?
  4. I'm getting a new garage built and would like to find some cool Lexus memorobilia/posters/dealer signs to put up inside it... So far I've not really found anything in the usual places! Any ideas? Or does it not really exist? Thanks! 🙂
  5. It's every Sunday 🙂 https://www.facebook.com/Uptonbridgefarm Charlie is an absolute gentleman and has a couple of nice cars of his own.
  6. If you can get to Long Sutton, Upton Bridge Farm Shop runs the finest cars and coffee in the South West! 😎
  7. Looks great, and such low mileage! (I hope you're going to do something about that?) Good to have another LC500 in the SW. 🙂
  8. I'd echo the above, they do seem to attact stones! Otherwise, they are generally vice free and easy to drive regardless of if your giving it the beans or just cruising. Approach it as a GT, not a sports car - it's about demolising continents, not lap times. 🙂
  9. The only issue I have found so far is that the drivers arm rest/cubby hole lid & mechanism was clearly built down to a price. I never have any cables poking out of it etc, my phone sits in there plugged in - all good.... until the lead popped up a little and got trapped when the mechanism slid forward. This made it a right pain to open and rectify, especially as I have read online all the stories from the USA where the mechanism has failed completely. (Seems to be due to the tiny nature of a spring?) It's not broken yet, and seems to be working fine. (but the paranoia is there now!)
  10. That looks great 🙂
  11. 100% get you 🙂 (But this is the internet, it's almost law that we can't agree to respect one anothers opinions! 🤪 ) I should stop de-railing someone elses new car thread....
  12. You need to see it in the flesh old chap 🙂 I was a little apprehensive when I ordered mine as there were none yet available to look at in person, but glad I saw it through as it follows the form of the car perfectly.
  13. If its cranking, but won't even fire up on easy start then you have no spark.
  14. A TPS issue might have resulted in it's unwillingness to rev if the revs were climbing very slowly but everything else was fine. Does it fire up (briefly) with a dose of easystart down the inlet?
  15. Another thing to check: How is your dashboard? Does it still light up correctly? When mine began to fail on my LS it gave all kinds of interesting additional problems...including preventing the remote lock/alarm from working - I wonder if it's possible you have a failing module and it's causing immobiliser issues?
  16. No good deed goes unpunished!
  17. When Lexus were testing it, was it holding an idle? The TPS shouldn't really have any impact on if it will turn over and fire or not. As I said above, did the ignition system get checked?
  18. Here's a few of mine- quality of pics is very....variable!
  19. Fantastic little meet - great to meet everyone 😀
  20. I'll be starting in about 20mins 😛
  21. Going to need some pics! I chickened out of the red and black because no one had any pics, (not even Lexus) so didn't want to risk it..
  22. Awesome! How long did you have to wait for yours? Which interior did you go with? 🙂
  23. One more bump - be good if more than one LC could make it 🙂
