100% agreed- I was driving up Dorchester high street a few weeks ago with the windows down and the difference was very apparent with it open vs shut.

I was hearing them for about 30mins this morning as they went over fairly close with a couple of tankers.

I've no idea what I'd replace mine with - yes you can go faster for the money, but how much faster do you need to go? It's quicker than 99% of whats on the roads, more comfortable and looks epic. The only reason I don't drive mine more is because of the state of the roads around here, and the muppetry of other road users. (I've had her a year on the 29th and I still haven't done 1500 miles!) Suspect others may feel the same.

Thought I'd give this a little bump with info I forgot to add last year! Since the replacement the top of the drivers side A pillar trim keeps popping up; I've noticed on some other LC groups that this has been an issue from new on some peoples cars in the USA - it's being looked at by Lexus when it goes in for the first service next week. The other annoyances that I discovered were a slight mark, (looks a little like a knurling imprint) on the steering wheel and a tear in the bulkhead rubber that goes along the top of the firewall. (I can live with these, but it just shows that after a windscreen replacement you have got to check everywhere for damage. I was so concerned about damage to the paint and carbon I forgot to check other areas at the time of collection.

I just did a back to back test on my 2022 car and it makes around 2db difference at idle.

It's pretty civilised inside until you give it some beans! Under normal driving you get a rumble. 🙂 Mine is one of the later versions with the GPF, so not as shouty as the earlier versions - but still makes itself heard!

The difference is much more noticeable on the pre-GPF cars. Would be good to do a back to back test of noise if we are ever in the same place & same time!

I'd check the hose connectors and then the nozzles. Doubt it will be anything major 🙂

After a few recoveries via WD40 mine has finally seized up totally. Can anyone recommend a good replacement? I don't fancy paying the thick end of £300 for one off Lexus!
