  1. It was this Evo group test that tipped the balance for me in buying mine. (I was also considering a Roma, McLaren GT, Vantage, and a Cayman GT4) https://www.evo.co.uk/features/204878/ferrari-roma-v-lexus-lc500-v-bentley-continental-gt-v8-v-aston-martin-db11-amr
  2. Yeah, that's mine at Southampton. Obviously there is a mark up on there, but it hasn't done badly given it is a pre-price rise LC500. (Ordered late October 2021, delivered May '22) I think I paid £98k, it's up for £94.5k. If anyone on here is going after it, feel free to give me a shout and I'll talk you through it.
  3. Genuine battery ordered up, but have stuck this one on a trickle charger to see if I can bring it up a bit in the meantime.
  4. Thanks for that, I suspect the battery is the original still anyway!
  5. This error pairing has just appeared on my 2006 400h. My current code reader isn't giving me any joy on the codes, but will briefly clear the issue. (For about 5secs) Battery voltage is 13ish when running, mid 11 when off. I've seen techstream mentioned, can anyone recommend one I can buy? Any hints or suggestions on where to start with tests/fixes? Thanks! 🙂
  6. I may have accidentally purchased a manual supra already... 🤪
  7. Can't argue with that! 🤐🤣
  8. Was that an actual flounce? 🤪🤣
  9. The primary issue is getting safely too and from the adopted roads, driving became incredibly stressful every time due to width etc. Idiots ripping it to pieces to steal it wasn't an encouraging thought either. I had it 13 months from new, it's on thr Hedge End approved used section now, a stunning car if anyone is after a black Inspiration.
  10. Another reply:
  11. I finally got this reply yesterday: This combined with some issues I was having trying to actually get from my house to the main road without a tractor/pickup truck/moron contractor interface lead me to sell the car back to Lexus on monday. I'll replace it with something smaller, cheaper and easier to live with - not to mention harder to steal. I cannot believe how apathetic Toyota/Lexus are with these issues.
  12. I wouldn't want it back if it was mine. 😞 Lexus still haven't replied to my enquiry.
  13. I was there on the stand opposite with my Rx7 - bought a DVD player off one of the LOC members!
  14. Little bump as this isn't far off now. 🙂
  15. Cheeky shooting range pic from last night. (Turns out you can fit four rifles in the boot!)
  16. If someone starts on my wing/wheel arch I will fully trigger! 🤪🤬
  17. Radio silence so far, only the automated reply.
  18. Some really poor input validation controls in place; as usual the architecure/design has security as an after thought - not even a nod to SDLC. I've worked in security for a very long time now and can think of no other industry where this ***** poor approach would be allowed to go live.
  19. I've contacted Lexus UK and asked what they intend to do about it...
  20. Only just spotted this, I am at Wilton on the 25th or would definately have made the trip.
  21. Physical security is still the best deterrent, don't make yourself an easier target than the person up the road.
  22. All that will do is add time to the theft, not make it impossible. They need to do some software changes and get those pushed out as a recall ASAP.
  23. There is probably some merit in getting the tyres fitted at the dealership in terms of comeback if they damage a rim...?
  24. I suspect there may be a market for body panels etc - especially any of the carbon or CRFP components. Sure I read somewhere that a boot lid alone is well into five figures new?
  25. Not mine, just thought I would share. Forewarned is forearmed etc
