These are the people I used and they told me that to set the steering and alignment up properly it has to be set outside the Lexus parameters, hey presto no more excessive tyre wear on the outside. Lexus could do with reading these forums and perhaps learning one or two things..

I had exactly the same on my car, I took it to a so called expert with 4 wheel lazer alignment technology but showed he had as much knowledge on using the equipment as my dogs would know. I left it a few months and then took it to another so called expert same outcome but charged me £80 and told me there was nothing wrong. With tyres wearing out exactly the same as yours I read a thread on here about the same problem and he took his to a company up in Buckinghamshire who know more about Lexus than Lexus do. He diagnosed exactly the same as yours did the adjustments and hey presto. Cost was about £60.

I wonder where the replacement engine came from?

I happen to know that he feels that he is the victim in all this and that the only thing he did wrong was not pay back the victim his money. The trouble with people like this is that they eventually end up believing all the lies and eventually live in a sort of Walter Mitty world where everyone else is in the wrong, he has already forgotten that he pleaded GUILTY to all charges. He is going to have invoices printed now which state that the car he is selling is not fit for the road and that the car is sold as scrap. He doesn't want to know or is ignorant of the law but he can put what he likes on his bills of sale or invoices it doesn't negate his responsibilities under the law. Having to fork out £3000+ will hurt him more than you may think so maybe this will have the result of making him realise that trading is so much better honestly than the dishonest way he has been trading over the years, he also doesn't want to forget that now he is known to Trading Standards so if his name does come up again they wont hesitate going after him. Well have just Spoken to Ray at UKTechnics and they still haven't managed to get round to her. I am not surprised as when I first contacted them he did say they were booking 3 to 4 weeks in advance. Will keep you informed of any developments. Mike. I want my Lexus back!

I hate to think how much that lot cost just for me to come along and say OMG, I might think differently if I was 20 something. You wouldnt know if people were laughing at you or feeling jealous because of what your driving. Safe to say it wont ever belong to me.
