Hi Dan and welcome to the LOC, we are a friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer left over. We always like to see pictures of members cars so don't be shy. We recommend you spend a couple of mins looking over the rules of the LOC, we will be asking questions later. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/terms-conditions/ Regards Mike

Welcome to the club and to GS450h ownership I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am mine. Yours sounds a good buy. What year are your maps? One of the screens will tell you. If you have got a software problem and you have old maps, newer maps probably come with improved software so that might fix the problem. As you will read on the forums, Lexus excel in most areas but (intuitive) Sat Nav operation is not one of them John Moved this from one of the duplicated posts which have now been boxed. Mike. The only problem I can foresee for any Motor Engineer is that alot of the damage will be hidden deep in the engine so unless he takes the engine to bits he can only say it doesn't run correctly. He can also use the statement from the garage that they had to take the engine to bits from under the car which as we all know is completely wrong.

Use the county court to get your judgment and if successful, no reason why you shouldn't be then for £75 transfer it to the high courts and send their High Court Sheriffs in, they will get your money. Hopefully the garage will see the errors of their way and underwrite the charges from Lexus. I wish you all the luck in the world.

Well CE has gone. Says he gave it his best shot. Even with him gone I cant see any point in carrying on with the old format as it was all well past its sell by date long before the original crowd were sacked. Come on BBC time for a completely new car program, show us what your made of.

I wouldn't take too much notice of the LPG gauge as I dont know of one that is accurate. What most people do is fill the tank and zero your mileage on the speedo and wait for it to empty, make a note of the mileage and use that as an accurate gauge to how much you have left. Enjoy. Mike. -
Welcome back. Great looking car.
