I have often wondered about that. Trying to find some logic in how they arrive at the figures they do is just an impossible task. I have given up trying to work it out and as long as my premium is around the £250 mark I'm happy. Mike.

I expect and dont mind paying over the odds to acquire a car like that. They are rare cars and it is for that reason I dont mind paying extra. Its just my personal feeling.

Well you could go down the court but lets be realistic you would be on a hiding to nothing. If he says he didn't do it you could always try torture, but honestly there is nothing you can do other than take a deep breathe and try to polish it out. I can tell Linas you have never experienced the delights of corruption and lawlessness in the African countries. It all depends on making sure you bribe the right people and your away. You cant even imagine just how corrupt these countries are. This also goes for lots of the middle east and far east countries. The last thing that concerns them is where the car comes from and is it legal?

Most countries which were British colonies still drive on the left hand side of the road including huge land masses such as India, Australia and Southern Africa plus all these. The market for RH drive cars is huge, stolen or legal.
