The most important thing is how well it has been looked after ie service record. These cars will go on for a million plus which they have in the States as long as they are looked after. Mine has a mere 158K and she is still smooth and purrs just like a brand new car.

I saw one of these sheep tied to a lamp post as I was driving through Abergaveny and I was told it was a Leisure Center.

I should never be surprised by what comes up but 3 owners and all they could manage is 352 miles between them. Perhaps they were the only 3 people in the world that hate the LS400, maybe the 3 owners became tragically ill or even worse. Notice they have made sure you cant see the Reg #. Time will tell.

Hes put it up for sale again. 1 previous owner now means 2 previous to include him. I wouldn't mind betting this has been in a front end shunt. As for the fail on the MOT for having a split pin missing from a steering linkage. thank god it was found before it fell off on the motorway. Despite him saying hes not a dealer he seems to sell an awful lot of cars.

Wise move. You need to be happy with your purchase and not get annoyed each time you see it with all its faults.

I have never seen an LS rust like that. I would walk and so should you as you are already doubting if its the car for you. I can always change or get repaired mechanicals quite easily but when it comes down to getting parts of the car resprayed its a no no for me.

Check its MOT history out. Loads of advisories, some fails. This car has sat around alot its only done 30K in the last 10 years. The seller was also selling a Porsche last Dec using the same excuse that he now has two dogs. Hes keeping the number plate. Approach with caution.

Insurance companies are a mystery even to themselves. I wen t on to Go To and M&S came up as the cheapest and without having to talk to anyone a few buttons pressed and job done..

I have just saved £134 on our second car, 5 mins work on the internet a bog standard Fiesta after being quoted £300 renewell and have gone from Esure to M&S when I rang Esure to cancel the renewell they wanted to know what I had been quoted and from who as they would be able to beat their quote. When will these insurance companies realise we are not stupid and not to be so insulting by thinking we will swallow any old price they throw at us?

Beware the mileage on its MOT history doesn't fit. It had 158K in Nov 2016 and 150K in Nov 2015. Seller has declared mileage as 146K

I know Lexus bits are expensive but it must have been a fair amount of damage to write that car off.

Could be interesting for others in the forum to just put the name of the company and type of cover you got plus an idea of price.
