    When I replaced my battery on my 98 MK4 LS400 it was the original from when the car was new 15 years old. I Lexus replaced it with another one but sadly that one didnt last any where near as long as I had to replace that one last October again with another Lexus one. Heres a picture of Willie Nelsons Martin N20. He calls it Trigger.     I always buy Lexus replacement rubber blades they are only about £15 and last really well.

    Bang on Barry. O/S went but I had both replaced just in case amd as time went on I replaced most other things that cost a few hundred £ a time at my local garage. Would never ever have another Mercedes absolute rubbish now. Mind you if push came to shove and a decent W126 280SE+ etc I could be tempted but I think they were the last of the reliable Mercs.
