I have always used Flakens 225/60/16 and they have always given good service wet, dry etc They are quiet too. I didn't know they weren't around anymore but I have a full set of new ones which I picked up cheap on Ebay earlier this year, they won't go on until spring time next year. Thank goodness their tyres are far more reliable than the Premier League football team they sponsor. 2017: Falken became a sponsor of English Premier League team Liverpool F.C.

Made a change from a Turkey. Sorry, couldn't resist it. I have along with many others especially with LS400 have suffered the flat battery syndrome and when recharged happily carries on for months/years.

I have always advocated that if something is required by law then it should be supplied/collected by the government, same as road tax and taxes in general etc.

Just the normal recommended oil for mine. Redressing the drip feed oil to stop the valves burning. Once they did away with leaded petrol to run your engine on unleaded you needed to put Redex or some similar oil additive to help stop the valves burning out or you could take the head or heads off and have the valve seats hardened and that was also needed for LPG but modern engines are capable of running on LPG without any drip feed oil additive which they love to charge £100+, a complete waste of money. I have never heard of any valves being burning out because of LPG. The other thing to remember is that LPG has only 85% of the calorific value of the same amount of petrol.

I have had my LS400 8 years now and I still look forward to getting into her and going for a drive. I have never had that with any other car I have ever owned.

I chucked my SanDisk away as it was always crashing. I bought a Sony one and it's perfect.

They can try and over ride the laws of this country but the laws still protect you regardless of what they write. Still a lot of money for a car that's been to the moon and back.

Hello Ian, Nice to hear from you. You sound as you have more than your fair share of illness. I know the dilema re the wheel chair, I am very lucky that we have a Waitrose who look after me when I go shopping and if I didnt get the help I would have to use a WC or just not go shopping.
