Hi and welcome to the LOC, we are a friendly bunch so please don't hold back asking questions big or small should you have any problems with your car. We always welcome ideas on how to overcome problems with our cars but as they are the finest cars in the universe they don't go wrong that often.
I am sorry you've had an RTA. They always look bad at this stage but it's amazing how quickly they can turn it back to its original condition.
We always love to see pictures of your cars so don't be shy.
Happy Lexus Motoring. Mike. Bluesman.
I live in the Hampshire countryside and I only run on Falkens all year round. The one time I got one side of the car stuck in soft off-road section I just hit the snow button and gently pressed the throttle, hey presto out she came. Upset some bloke going around in a 4 wheel drive wanting £50 to pull you out.
I upset one of these vans a couple of months ago 35 in a 30 and where I got caught is a well-known spot as they can be seen as the road is dead straight but I never saw them so I have come to the conclusion that they are now invisible vans. They offered me a Driver aware course cost £80 and no points on my licence. Rang the insurance co to let them know and they weren't bothered so I took the guys name just in case.
70 myself so I know where you're coming from. There is a great garage in Brighton I know of, a lot of the membership use myself included. 77 Beaconsfield Rd, Brighton BN1 4QJ. 01273 508606. Hopefully, this can be of use to you.
Same colour as mine and it does look the business after it's been washed and polished. I saw the car you bought was for sale and I nearly rung the guy and bought the car for myself but I have no garage at present. That is, without doubt, the best deal on an LS400 I have seen. Well done. Mike
That 1st episode of season 8 was better than the whole of season 7 which I didn't like at all. the big question from S8 E1 is why didn't they take Negan down when they had the chance, I am sure he could have been replaced by another thug, Negan and his Baseball bat should be gone.
Great looking car, There are not too many cars out there that will look as though they have just left the showroom with a quarter of a million miles on the clock. Smiles and smiles of happy motoring still left in her.
Not petty at all, if they are describing the car as 100% complete and it's not then it can't be 100% OK. £9K is way over its value. They will have it on sale at that price for a long time.
The only thing that I would be concerned about is that it's coming from a car crash body shop so has it been involved in an accident? I would definitely do an HPI on the car.
The only time electric cars will be a serious mode of transport( this is just my opinion) is if you can charge them up wirelessly. Something the battery car lot seem to have forgotten What happens to all the cars that are plugged into their charging points and late one night along comes little Johnny, drunk and as high as a kite with his mates out come all the charging cables. If you have a nice private drive with gates or garage then you will be OK but for huge numbers of people who live in the inner towns and cities, you won't have a chance in hell of the electric car succeeding.
I thank my learned friend off course for pointing out I wasn't coarse enough.
