    UKLPG are not any sort of government-appointed watchdog over the LPG industry. Pay them enough money and you too could become a UKLPG member. There have been some horrendous stories on the forum of using UKLPG registered garages. The only way you can be as sure as possible is by word of mouth and not by reviews most of which have been put on the internet by themselves. Bearing in mind what you have already found out about them not being VAT registered and Companies House shows them as a dormant company, give them a wide berth.

    Doesn't matter what he writes on the invoice it doesn't negate his legal position selling you this car. If it goes wrong he is legally bound to put the car right.

    I have found this link to them https://www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/index.htm?t=102518 and the first 10 reviews are all posted on Mon 7 Oct 2013 apart from one which was dated 8th Oct 2013 all the other reviews are around the same date and on that alone I would be very careful about going there.

    They are a mystery. I did a speed awareness course in the autumn last year, they told us to advise our insurance companies that we had been on so as soon as I got in I rang my insurance Marks & Spencer, I told them I had been on a course and they said, "that's OK we don't need to know this only if you get points on your licence"

    Just a bulb will do. He will fit it when he services next.

    It looks like a round tube that goes from one side to the other. You can tell I know what I am talking about. He said they would it when its next in for a service. Its the side light bulb that has gone black with age, it still works but needs replacing. Thanks for the offer I will keep that as you never know when you need one.

    8 am she goes on the ramp and 20 mins later we have a new certificate. Offside Front suspension has slight play in a lower suspension ball joint (2.5.B.1a) Nearside Front position lamp(s) deteriorated, but still visible from a reasonable distance (1.1.A.3d) Front Tyre worn close to the legal limit (4.1.E.1) Some underside corrosion. How happy can car owning when you have a Lexus? Just 5000 miles in the last year. I must get those new tyres fitted now.

      Straight answer is he can't - there is no function to do that. All he can do is turn off notifications of any sort and not visit the site ;-)

    I think the reason my wifes insurance is twice yours is although I am 70 my wife is only 19yrs old. Of course, I am joking who knows why car insurance is such a mystery I don't think even they know.

    Just had the renewal in for the wifes car Fiesta 2010 had a premium hike from £190 to £240, this is with Marks & Spencer, rang them up and they reduced it by £35, that annoys me, I said the price they charge should be their best price the first time and not require me to ring them up and have a moan. Insurance legalised theft.

    It's an absolute disgrace and it's about time something was done to these companies that peddle all this useless and sometimes dangerous kit.

    I'm old and as my son is always pointing out to me that it's different today and because of that I don't know anything. I have exactly the same colour LS as yours and I really love it but tints? they just make it look cheap. It's just my opinion.

    Yes, stupid me. Getting old really does mess with the memory. Didn't even get the right name. The only thing I had correct was that Sam & Bert were both goalkeepers, well I would have if I had mentioned that Sam was a goalkeeper as well.

    . I never have any trouble finding LPG stockists and if I go to an area that I don't know I have my satnav that tells me where the nearest one is.

    I bet you never thought you would have to go through all this when you paid all that money for a high-end car.

    Bad news. Manufacturers are going to have to get this sorted. It's all very nice having these wonderful gadgets but no good if scum bags can use them for their own ends. I feel the manufacturers should be held responsible for the loss of your properties and made to pay up. It's them who have sold you these gadgets and if they don't work then its time they paid. That way they might not put useless gadgets in the cars and when they do they make sure they cant be hacked and work as they say they do.
