  1. There is a thread on here which lists all his Ebay names, they are in the archives somewhere. Mike.
  2. (though I seem to recall Lexus called it something green!). If its paint code 6Q7 I think its called Jade Green. Mike.
  3. What tactic does he use to wreck them? He puts huge sums on bidding and can use 2 aliasis each one bidding the other one up, there are lots of different ways to do it most people are now aware of it and report it. Once the auction is finished he will contact you and offer a stupid amount of money for the car, hes often lucky as alot of people cant be bothered to relist and go through the entire auction procedure again so let him have it. Mike.
  4. You made this remark on an earlier disscussion about leuxschap and intimated he was selling this car with altered mileage? PS: I would not recommend anyone buying a blue GS430 sport X861 XCD I owned this car back in 2008-2009 sold it with 240K on the clock.
  5. At least the mileage on a Lexus dealers car can be trusted which you cant with Lexuschap. No reason for this to be deleted. It is here as a warning to those who have yet to come across him. He did try and join the forum but could only end up posting foul language and abuse. Best thing is not to read this thread. Mike.
  6. Fantastic. Session work isnt always musically fullfilling but it pays the rent. I wish him all success with the undergraduate course. Jazz drummers are always hard to get hold of, I had a great jazz drummer for many years, Julian Bown whos dad was Alan Bown from the John Barry Seven and later The Alan Bown set. Sadly Alan died earlier this week. Julian is a great drummer with lots of feel that cant be taught its either in you or it isnt. have a great gig tonight. Hope the roadie is getting paid. Mike
  7. Thanks Mike, just drying the mats now before the Mrs takes her friends for a night out in it! Will be the first time she has driven it. I've got the job of dropping my son and his drum kit off for his pub gig. Brilliant what sort of music is he into? Mike.
  8. She looks great inside and out. Great purchase. Happy Lexus Christmas. Mike.
  9. To help you further maybe, today I paid 48p a litre. laughing all the way. Even Santas Sleigh costs more to run. Mike
  10. Sounds like life might be delivering him some justice he so richly deserves.
  11. If there are any taxes to pay these days they tell you by letter that whatever needs paying before the will deliver it, this is done online easily. British customs are dreadfully slow. Mike.
  12. Well done Jonathan, Happy Christmas to you and all your family and also to all Lexusites. Mike.
  13. I had a Grand Chrokee Jeep and I used to travel regularly to the Czech Republic I had 3 tanks fitted to it which saved me from haveing to fill up too many times. If you're buying a Cat D car, there's no guarantee that it hasn't incurred chassis damage. You can find out for sure by investing in a full mechanical inspection at an approved dealership, or by RAC Inspections. If you buy a Cat D car, make sure your insurance company knows about it, otherwise they might not pay out if you make a claim.
  14. Just don't do it when you're driving! :) Anyone know a girl who can talk, drive, cook, wear headphones and text at the same time? Regards John Have you tried Ebay? Mike
  15. I agree with you Mike re the front and rear foglights. I`m afraid that I do not understand anyone who says they didn`t see you coming when you had dipped beams on .......seems to me that they were driving without due care and attention! Regards John The last one had something to do because she was texting on her phone at the same time. Police are going to prosecute her, it also goes to show that despite women for years saying they can multi task, they cant. Mike
  16. Your correct it is. Mike
  17. The ones that annoy me are those that insist even in bright sunlight have the fog lights on front and back. They are down right dangerous. In wet conditions they blind you coming towards you. On motorways when your perspective/line of sight changes suddenly you see what you think is a brake light, so you hit your brakes only to find out its an idiot with their fog lights on. Fog lights are to be used in foggey conditions or when your seeing distance is down to around 100 meters because of heavey rain/spray. Once conditions change you turn them off and not keep them on because you think your car looks better with them on. I dont have any problem with cars being driven around with dipped headlights during the day in bright sun light I do all the time but a word of warning if you think this will make you more visable on the road the last two accidents I have had for which I wasnt at fault were both because they never saw me coming and my dipped headlights were on. Mike End of rant, feel much better.
  18. What they ask for and what they get are two different stories. Mike.
  19. Well we are up too £2800 and still the reserve hasnt been reached. Mike.
  20. Well they are. People that work on the stock exchange are traders, trading in all sorts of wonderous things, if you buy and sell then by that very act of buying and selling including Lexus main agents makes you a trader but I accept that you used the term for those that are less than honest and untrustworthy. Mike.
  21. Come on Malc. We only pointed out that by buying and selling of cars makes them traders, they cant be anything else. I can understand that the very word "Traders" has connotations of not being very nice people that sadly its something the motor trade and governments departments has bought on itself by allowing low life to thrive and prosper. The honest ones of which you say these guys are become collateral damage but, they are traders. Mike
  22. Well done you for such an indepth article. Father Christmas will surely visit you and fill your stocking with many wonderous things. Mike.
  23. They may well have good quality stock and a long established showroom but they are still traders. Mike
  24. Been to Fallingbostal twice this year from Wirral through France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Saw plenty of CT`S, one GS and not a single LS ! Regards John Its a great feeling driving a car that cost a pittance and watch the faces of those in their BMWAUDIFERRARIRANGEROVERMERCEDES etc that have paid fortunes for an exclusive car only to look just like all the rest. Mike
  25. Its strange but for those of you that were alive in the 50s and 60s er had Morris Minor 1000s, 100E Ford POPs, E93A Ford Pops, Ford Anglias, Mk 1 Zodiacs, Ford Cortinas Mk 1s & 2s, Minis, etc they somehow do look good when tampered with but it just dosent seem to work on modern cars. Mike.
