  1. I think its more likely to come down to what sort of goodie bag they get from the manufacturer which of course can mean they loan you free of charge cars for quite long periods of time, your gonna find it hard to them a bad write-up on a car you've had for a year FOC. Mike.
  2. Hi Mark and welcome to the LOC, we are a friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer left over. Great colour. We recommend you spend a couple of mins looking over the rules of the LOC, we will be asking questions later. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/terms-conditions/ Regards Mike.

  4. I agree with everything you say. Such a waste of talent and money. Still you can be sure that someone will come along and love her and give her a new home. Mike.
  5. I have just watched the Tiff Needell show. How boring. As you say no Jason, definitely missed a trick there. Not much for Johnny to get his teeth into, another trick missed there and VBH another trick missed. This program needs a bomb put under it and remodeled. Its even more boring than TG. What is the matter with these program makers? More 1st gear than 5th, Mike.
  6. Hi Craig and welcome to the LOC, great looking car. 9. Always remember what they ask and what they get are two different worlds. Offer them what you would have offered the original trader. Mike.
  10. Cheers Mikey, Its also on tomorrow morning 9am so have got it to record that one. Already recording Real Madrid V Barcelona and watching Man City V Liverpool so cant record anymore. Thanks for the heads up. Mike.
  11. They sorted mine out earlier this year after wasting money at two other places who just robbed me of my money. Even if you have to travel a long distance, Tony is the person to sort your tracking without any dramas. Tony Bones aka the Doctor at WIM (Wheels in Motion) Mike.
  12. If you have some money squirreled away and you have somewhere decent to keep her I would definitely negotiate my way to become her next owner. If you were to put £13K somewhere you could sit and look at it I would become bored in about a nano second but replace it with that Lexus LS400 and I could sit and look at it for ages, then take her out for a little spin, I think you get my drift. Mike.
  13. According to Sky epg, S1 ep2 is on next Wednesday at 8pm. That is what last nights episode was listed as, however, the details of the items on the show don't match up, so who knows? Just to confuse further, next Thursdays show is supposedly S1 ep1. Just looked on Wiki at an episode guide, and last nights show is ser25 ep3, according to them. Actual items on last night were Citroen Cactus test, Jag v Merc, Tiffs first racing car v a modern Lotus. Many thanks I will get the Sky machine to record it. I did go on the 5th Gear website but I couldn't make any sense out of it. Mike.
  14. Missed both of them do you know of any repeat times? Mike.

  16. To be sure I would go to one of the companies that do in depth searches on the car to see what the history actually is and if it differs from what they have told you you have some comeback on them, they are only about £20. Mike.
  17. My son had to have a black car, bought one and then regretted every day after that because it would never stay clean. Don't buy black. Mike.
  18. Must have been the threat of taking her into the Lexus garage that frightened her into stop messing around and reset herself Mike.

  20. There are plenty of models out there for front and rear cameras which are wireless apart from the power which is usually the cigarette lighter but a word of warning if you cut the cigarette plug off don't hard-wire that in because most of them have a transformer contained within the plug and you will fry the electronics. I bought the cheapest (below) which they are selling for £28 front & rear with HD pictures and OK it wont do alot of things the others do all you want is a record of who did what and I was speechless at the quality of the pictures. For day to day use you don't need to see the screen and you may have noticed that some of the more expensive ones don't have screens at all. I dont like where mine has been situated so mine is going behind the rear view mirror. Mike.
  21. Well thats great news. Well done you for sticking at and getting the refund. Mike.

  23. I should think the paint alone cost a small fortune. If I bought that home my wife and kids would disown me. Mike.
