Its not smoke its steam and you always get lots of it in the wet cold winter months. If you drive a brand new Roller, Bentley, Lamborghini, BMW, Audi, in fact any car with an engine it happens. Nothing to worry about.
Hi David and welcome to the LOC, we are a friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer left over. LS is a great choice of car.
We recommend you spend a couple of mins looking over the rules of the LOC, we will be asking questions later.

The Gold badges are available from your local store ebay together with the awful V8 badge. I have always thought the gold badges which I don't think have anything to do with Lexus are the vehicle equivalent of the medallion man look back in the 70s and 80s. Mike.

I am not saying this because my fellow mod was involved in the new look and also likes it.
I think it looks refreshed and not that much different in operation over the old format. Its always the same when we have a change as humans most of us don't like it. Give it time and you will get to love it. Mike.
Brand new Rollers, Bentleys, Lamborghini, Audi, BMW, and every other car you can think of running on petrol will have steam coming out of the exhaust. Mike.
Have a good read here from earlier posts on this sad position. I would then do what Normski2 suggests and reject the car as not being fit for purpose. The law is on your side. Mike.

Lots of lovely white steam coming out of my LS this morning and you could be forgiven thinking that this was a steam driven car. Once she has all warmed up the steam goes. Blue smelly smoke is the type of exhaust fumes you never want to see. Mike.

Its just normal. Always looks more during the wet cold moist weather conditions. Don't start worrying about head gaskets. I cant say I have ever heard of a head gasket going on an LS.

Did you get the £168 price or did that change once you got through to them on the phone?
That's a good point, they do say it may be less via phone, I suppose you get a chance to negotiate. I'll try it tomorrow.
I bet it costs more. Please prove me wrong. Mike.
