Personally i would ditch the factory head unit. It is well out of date by modern standards and its only time before the thing plays up with the dreaded err3 code. I brought a fascia adaptor of eBay and the cable to by pass the is200 sport amp and installed a nice Pioneer Bluetooth headunit with built in ipod connection.
Got it second hand for £125. Great head unit and i can make calls and control my ipod.
If you opt to upgrade you need to know what is200 you have as some have amplifiers in them and some do not. Its important to identify which model so you can buy the correct cable.
Heres the links for the fascia adaptor:
Heres the cable to bypass the is200 sport amplifier
Finally just buy a nice head unit. with the fascia plate you can have a single din or a double din stereo.
Hope this helps

Allo all, i have a nearside front side light out/blown.
Lifted the bonnett and it looks a mare to change.!............or am i wrong?
Cheers
There quite easy to do. It is quite tight to get your hand to where the side light bulb holder is. You just twist it a quarter turn. It will only twist one way. Replace bulb and twist the opposite way to secure bulb holder back in.
10 min job if that.
Hope this helps

Welcome mate to LOC.
Nice car, and really like the black roof. Is it like a carbon fibre vinyl?
No mate. The previous owner had the roof sprayed gloss black to simulate a panoramic roof effect and hide the sunroof. Reminds me of a Merc with the silver and black. Its what partly I liked about the car. Something unusual and quite tasteful. Doesnt look too boy racer ish. If you know what I mean.Im not liking my Red Calipers much though

Hi I have recently brought my first Lexus is200 Sport about 3 weeks ago and loving it.
I just thought id share some pics of it
I brought it like this and this is what made me say "this is the car for me".
Since I have brought it i have installed HID Lights and got rid of those nasty rear orange indicator bulbs.
Am going to remove the standard stereo because it plays up big time.
Gonna put a Bluetooth Pioneer in it and change rear speakers.
Possibly install Angel eyes aswell and paint calipers Black because im not keen on the red colour
I Just love driving this car and the amount of heads that turn when i drive past lots of people
Feel free to comment on the car and thanks for looking

I would get the Halos or rather Angel Eyes as they are often reffered and they are always associated with BMWs not Saxos.
I put them in my is200 sport but dint paint the interiors black but i did remove the orange reflector though.
They look stunning and they really turn heads.
heres a link to the ones i brought from eBay.
