I assume you mean it was inside/outside wear rather than explicitly left/right? On both rear tyres? Are you on original Lexus wheels? I've not heard of this as a common complaint so I'd recommend you get a 4 wheel alignment check performed.

You need normal transponders for the car to learn, not special cloned ones. If you purchased your keys from the US then the central locking part is unlikely to work as they use a different frequency, unless the keys purchased were explicitly European ones.

Almost certainly this is the reason. The Toyota warranty was always better than Lexus once they moved from 3 to 5 years - Lexus stayed at 3 years. Lexus warranty for at least the last 10 years has been 3 years/60,000 miles (with no mileage limit in the first year) and 5 years/60,000 on the hybrid components.

Possibly but Lexus would assume the vehicle will be driven, not to be parked up and only very occasionally driven - same with the hybrids. Cannot comment on all other EVs - I know some will use their traction battery to charge up the 12 v battery, including your Tesla, but I suspect there will be others in the same situation as the 300e and part of the problem is it isn't a ground-up designed EV, it is a converted ICE/hybrid vehicle.

You can get blue engine coolant but that shouldn't have been used on your vehicle so it is likely to be screenwash. If you cannot see where it is coming from it would be worth confirming with whoever serviced it what colour fluids they used.

Full service on a UX - £295 at Halfords (including air filter which Lexus won't change every time), £480 at Lexus.

I personally believe that Lexus servicing is too high and more that BMW, Jag etc. £300 to change the oil and look over it for 15 mins isn't value for money. But they are transparent about the pricing so it shouldn't come as a shock. The 'free' Lexus Relax warranty after 3 years goes some way to justifying the price.

There are different options, including panels that are sunk into the roof so there is no gap, but this is more expensive and not something you could do retrospectively. Most are skirts/mesh that go around the outside of the panels so there isn't a gap for them to get under the panels and nest. They obviously make a mess but you will also hear them on the roof which would become annoying. Givenergy has an Emergency Power Supply (EPS) feature built into their hybrid inverters but the switchover takes a second or two and because the inverter output power isn't that high (5 kW) you could over load it if you connected all your circuits to it. Therefore most installations install just a double socket or one or two circuits only. I believe they will be coming out with a new product that would work much more like the Tesla Powerwall which has instant failover. The cost to implement any of these islanding features is high if you rely on your Earth coming from your mains installation (which most modern setups are (TN-C-S)). If you have a power cut then you cannot guarantee the Earth is safe and have to isolate it along with the Live and Neutral. Therefore you need a separate Earth so a rod would need to be installed.

No. The Lexus vehicles has different styling, are more exclusive, typically have better quality interior materials and specification, and, depending on the model, have additional quality checks at the factory for paint finish and tighter tolerance for panel gaps etc. Whether any of those things matter to you, or justify the additional expense, is a personal choice. Until recently within the UK you didn't get similar vehicles in the Toyota and Lexus range, unlike in the US for example. The CT was really the first to do so, with its sister being the Auris, then the UX and the C-HR, and now with the latest NX it has the RAV4 as a sister. The Camry has been dropped so the ES sits alone.

Take it for a drive and then try and spot where it is coming from whilst the system still has pressure. It would likely still be coming out the radiator if that has the leak. Otherwise you need a pressure testing kit to pressurise the system which will make coolant come out faster than normal - and with a cold engine you can feel around for any wet area.

You may run into issues. It may well be fine for the first couple of weeks you leave it, but then if your drive doesn't fully charge it back up then the second or third time you leave it for a couple of weeks it will get to the point where it is discharged (or at least damaging the battery for being left in a low state of charge). I only work around I can think of would be to use the Lexus Link app to turn on the climate system once or twice a week as that would wake the car and (I presume) charge the 12 v battery - this theory would need to be tested/checked as I don't have the info myself to confirm.

There is a TSB issued to fix this problem, so provided the vehicle has had the update there shouldn't be ongoing issues for normal use of the Lexus Link app whilst the vehicle isn't in use. How long you can leave the vehicle is similar to a Lexus hybrid; the vehicle needs to be driven enough to recharge it. What the 300e doesn't do is wake up automatically and charge the 12v aux battery from the traction battery, unlike some other EVs.

They are essentially what is fitted from the factory. Work well and if you purchase when on offer are good value.

Never seen this issue reported on LOC before so isn't a common issue. It does sound like bad wiring or solder joint on the headunit, and if it is temperature related then I'd expect it to get worse as winter closes in. When it occurs again try resetting the system by holding the audio power button in for 8 seconds to see if that brings it to life earlier than just leaving it to do its own thing. It is safe to do this whilst driving. This isn't the problem I'd expect with a low battery but you should rule it out by measuring the battery voltage after the vehicle has been left overnight and hasn't been put into Ready mode yet. Anything below 12.2 v would be cause for concern, and would be worth fully charging it up with an external battery charger. It also won't hurt to disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes to reset everything but isn't normally something that needs to be done, and you will need to reinitialise the power door, windows etc so the auto functions work correctly.

It would be illegal to do so in Europe and therefore isn't a configurable option, unlike other countries. EU law states the DRL have to come on with the engine (or once out of Park or parking brake released), but once on for the first time they should stay on until the engine is turned off (not just in Park). There are some manual allowances if the vehicle doesn't go over 6 mph but I don't think they are implemented by Toyota.

I can understand the 500h only having the F Sport grade, but I would have expected the 450h+ to be available in F Sport too.

You may burn a bit of oil if you rev the engine hard. Possibly you are just a little bit below max. which is enough to make the light come on when it hasn't before?

This is for the hybrid model, not the EV.

You get 4 levels of deceleration but even the highest setting isn't a much as other EVs. It will also still need the brakes applied to come to a full stop so doesn't give a true one pedal experience.

The CT has more in common with an Auris than a Prius.

I think that is the only setting that would be related to this, but I think this stops it switching between a white or black background rather than the screen actually dimming. All I can suggest is to alter the brightness level when it is in dim mode - maybe it will remember the two different brightness levels. The other approach would be the change the auto sensitivity of the headlights so they don't come on so easily if you just pass under a short bridge.

Not much in it but there are a few other differences between the 8GR in the LC500h and the 2GR in the GS450h. Different VVTi, different intake, higher revving producing a little more power and torque, a small weight reduction and different emissions set up. Your new motor is looking great BTW 👍

That lists the items. oil/filter every 10k/1 year pollen filter, brake fluid and rear diff oil every 20k/2 years air filter every 40k/4 years (inspect every 2 years) spark plugs every 60k miles. coolant (engine and hybrid) at 100k miles/10 years then every 60k/6 years.
