  1. Aido, you have an IS200? If so the belt is changed every 100k miles not 60k miles. It will need plugs though.
  2. The UK IS200 has a seperate amp, I don't know if the Altezza has this. It may be worth contacting L3X AV to see what your options are.
  3. Hopefully you will be ok with Elephant then as I think they are the same company as Admiral. Have you tried Tesco and Sainburys for a quote?
  4. I've had a look at tune-a-car. They do some stuff but not that much. I've sent them an email to see if they can get other items.
  5. I'm not sure if you can program a new remote. A dealer may be able to order a new remote which will work as they may have records based on your chassis number. Otherwise a new receiver unit and remotes will be required which will be expensive although fitting shouldn't be too expensive and all the wiring is already in place. It may be worth you speaking with your local dealer or Chris Shipley to find out your options.
  6. The only problem with some of these NCD accelerators is that you have to go with the same company the next year because most other insurance companies will not accept it.
  7. Can anybody recommend a supplier of TOMS parts, either based in the UK or who will ship to the UK?
  8. Isn't there another meet on that date? http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...f=25&t=9566&hl=
  9. I think UK insurance companies still increase the cost for LHD cars even if they are from the EU as they are more likely to have an accident.
  10. I guess you can just purchase one and install yourself? I've found a company just selling the unit. Does anybody have a picture of the keypad/switch thing. I can only find pictures of the actual control unit.
  11. There was no need to kill him though just for that
  12. They are cheap prices. I would never get a service for £85 from my local dealer, more like £115 without oil (£160 with). It is worth getting a quote from a few dealers to compare.
  13. You can do it manually. If you don't it can take several tanks before the ECU fully adjusts.
  14. Under the bonnet near the suspension strut
  15. Don't have any info on the cams but VVT-i does not kick in. On that engine the inlet valve timing is constantly being changed throughout the rev range based on several parameters (load, speed, rpm, throttle etc).
  16. You can either upload it to the club gallery first or use the web space provided by your ISP. Club gallery is here: http://www.lexusownersclub.com/gallery/
  17. There is no problem mixing Optimax with unleaded, you just won't get the full benefit. I would wait until the tank is empty, fill up with optimax, use half the tank and then reset the ECU. You need to car to be using the optimax before you reset the ECU.
