  1. He is pulling a fast one. Full service pricing is £445 for major and £245 for minor. Over three years, assuming you need 2 major and 1 minor, that is £1,135 or £31.53 per month for 36 months. Most dealers will give a 10% discount if you are purchasing a vehicle at the same time.
  2. You could also get a Lux with Premium Nav and Leather + heat/cool/memory seats for around £25k.
  3. My 100k service was just under £800. If I only needed a minor service then I guess around the £650. Unfortunately I live near one of the most expensive dealers so you may be able to get a better price.
  4. Ask them what the standard major and minor service costs are. Maybe it is slightly discounted, not much though. I was told by a dealer that the two year plan could be added to a 12 month old vehicle - I didn't purchase it so whether the sale actually would have gone through or not I don't know but the salesman didn't seem to think it was a problem.
  5. I assume that is for a full service? Prices did seem to vary however in the last year it seems quotes are now much more aligned with Lexus RRP.
  6. On the 300 at that age the ICE package was an option across the range. I don't believe it was standard on the SE-L unlike with the 400h
  7. It isn't a specific model thing, common across all Toyotas
  8. 6m is incorrect. RX series I 12.6m RX series II 11.4m RX series III 11.8m Those are US figures, they may have given European vehicles more lock due to smaller parking spaces but I don't think so.
  9. It is based on the smaller Landcruiser, with the LX based on the bigger Amazon Landcruiser. Rebadged in the same way that an RX is a rebadged Harrier, the specification is higher on the Lexus. The GX, LX 4x4s and the ES saloon aren't available in Europe, and probably not Japan, so the only possibility of finding one over here is a US import - I'm not aware of any on these forums.
  10. I'm using 38 at the moment, they had dropped to around 34
  11. I believe the adjustment is on the bottom of the alternator bracket?
  12. No problem with a warning - very useful. But just a small warning light that comes on is fine or an initial message on the LCD when first starting. There is no point in completely taking over the LCD and continually warning me - when I'm driving there isn't much I can do about the washer level.
  13. Hello Anthony, yes please share your questions. I hope your colleagues will be going on some re-education?
  14. There isn't much you can do. Some of the aftermarket exhausts provide an increase in power from around 2,000 rpm all the way up, they may make a small noticeable difference at lower speeds. Aftermarket intakes don't provide any gains at best, most make things worse and are just for show and sound. The IS-F engine is designed to have maximum torque at a high rpm to match power output.
  15. I imagine that the driver was trying to start with the lights on if they were flickering. I can only imagine that HID ballast/igniter didn't like poor supply voltage and has blown (maybe just an internal fuse). Unlike OEM HIDs some of the aftermarket ones aren't very robust.
  16. It isn't the weight that I have a problem with, it is the intermittent excessive resistance at the centre spot I have a problem with. My front pressures where a little down, which I've now corrected, so I'll see if that makes a difference.
  17. Seems a fair price especially if it comes with a warranty. Easy to make a car look nice with a low resolution video and internal lighting, hopefully it will be in good condition when viewed outside.
  18. It was a very frustrating feature on the RX400h. Completely over the top warning which essentially made the LCD display on the dashboard useless. Even when you clear the warning to look at some other information the warning just comes back a few seconds later
  19. No I'm saying the opposite. All my cars with an auto setting turn the lights off when getting out of the car, they don't keep them on. If I want to keep the lights on I have to press a button or flick a switch. directly responding to the following:
