  1. The breakdown of the Full +100 is on the website. I've also attached here. It doesn't include the timing belt replacement, only inspection and if it needs doing then additional charges are needed. Lexus-Full-plus-100-Service-Summary_tcm880-1321791.pdf
  2. Provided it is in good condition then it would be much quieter and much smoother. Handling, equipment etc then the LS is outclassed. A GS450h is also faster but an LS would outrun an IS/GS 300h.
  3. If that's the price in the UK these days then I would do a pan drain and fill every two years after the vehicle reaches 60k miles to keep the fluid in good heath. A standard drain and fill only replaces about 1/3 of all the fluid in the transmission which is why I'd recommend doing that every 20k miles/2 years. The last time I purchased some Toyota T-IV, which was a number of years ago, it was something like £60 for 5 litres so I'd change it less frequently.
  4. The light should go out when you pump them up but the system may have been reset previously with the pressures at 40 psi or higher which means you are only just above the threshold for triggering the alarm again. Resetting the system when the tyres are set at your desired pressure will give you less false alarms.
  5. I don't think there is any doubt here, the IS is noisier than a GS which itself is worse than an LS.
  6. See how it compares once you get your one back. As you say it doesn't really make sense other than the Premier suspension and wheel combination don't suit UK roads. Worth double checking that no transit blocks have been left in the suspension If you still feel your vehicle isn't as refined at the F Sport then I'd be asking to test another Premier to make sure there isn't just an issue with your vehicle.
  7. Lexus on their website quote £395 for shock absorbers (plural so I assume for the pair) under their essentials care ( for vehicles 5 years old and greater). http://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/servicing-and-maintenance/#/ServicingYourLexus/LexusEssentialCareRX
  8. I would set the pressures to your liking and then do a system reset so that your pressures are set as the midpoint. Yes with the ignition on, ideally in 'Ready', you press and hold until it flashes. You should then leave it switched on for a few minutes for the next polling to take place.
  9. If you look at the following page under the essentials care you will see fixed price servicing that Lexus dealers cannot charge extra for. Compare these prices to your independent. No reason why you couldn't get the two pieces of work done at different places - just more convenient to get it done all at once. http://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/servicing-and-maintenance/#/ServicingYourLexus/LexusEssentialCareRX
  10. The reason for doing the water pump is the labour cost involved in doing it separately should it need replacing in the future. The decision is similar to insurance/extended warranties. When my 400h had it's 100k service the dealer advised there was no need for the pump to be replaced, or even the belt tensioners/idlers. It had 114k on the clock when I sold it, no issues with the water pump.
  11. I would imagine they are using a % of list price that a dealer has given them for the old generation and they are incorrectly applying it to the new generation. I cannot believe you will get that sort of discount, you cannot get anywhere near than on an NX that has been out for 12 months. The RX will be in limited supply for at least the first 3 months as there will be a restriction on the numbers that will be imported.
  12. Press release for UK spec and pricing attached. new-lexus-rx-full-range-equipment-highlights-and-pricing-announced.pdf
  13. If you have keyless entry then yes that is probably worth doing anyway but not sure that is the issue.
  14. No common issues with the CT200h, other than poor ride quality, especially in the rear, on the larger wheels - but that is the design of the vehicle rather than issues in individual cars.
  15. I'd get your 12v battery checked out, it probably isn't holding a full charge.
  16. 1 - as comments above, plus remember to press and hold the button for a second or two for the function to activate. 2 - it should soft open. When the pollen filter is replaced the soft close mechanism is sometimes disconnected - seems to be an oversight by the dealer. 4 - Yes the SE-L Premier should have ACC/PCS and Head up display. Those are the differences between the SE-L and Premier together with a standard fit sunroof. Are you sure you have a Premier and not just an SE-L?
  17. Was you foot on the brake pedal? If not it will only turn on the ignition.
  18. The rear discs can easily go 100k miles any beyond provided a stuck calliper doesn't allow then to corrode. Any independent should be able to do the work for you. If your RX is 5+ years old then your dealer should be offering you essentials care and not charging any more than £295 which is the fixed price set by Lexus GB.
  19. It does apply braking pressure, providing resistance to allow the differential to apply power to the driving wheel rather than just having the unloaded wheel spinning.
  20. When has that ever stopped anybody? I'd say the front window tints are also appear illegal.
