  1. The windows may need to be reinitialised If you still have issues then the window mechanism may need to be lubricated - if the motor draws too much current the ECU will think there is something jamming the window and will go back down.
  2. The door ECUs are reliable but I guess could be at fault. You must have power to the ECU because some of the door functions are working - that is powered through the cabin fuses, not the engine bay fuse box.
  3. Does anybody have any experience with Lexus Reading for servicing of their F? Looking to possibly switch to them.
  4. 1 - Try with a CD, the DAB station may set their volume level low for some reason. 4 - I don't believe that is possible 5 - I think there is a setting to turn it off completely or to only go back a short way. The badge is available on its own - still quite expensive. Try your dealer first - may be cheaper than this one on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/53141-48050-Lexus-2007-2015-ES-GS-GX-IS-LS-LX-NX-RX-PreCrash-Grill-Emblem-/162912933395
  5. Is the immobilier/alarm light going out when you insert the key? Are you getting any error codes? Possibly a cam or crank shaft sensor error.
  6. The following is from a 2006 RX400h manual - the display is the same so I'd expect the battery level to not be static.
  7. ??? The battery indicator below the speedo is the traction (hybrid) battery. The vehicle would never show you the state of the 12v battery in that way.
  8. I recently brought a liner from these people - good service and whilst not as durable as the official Lexus ones it is 1/4 the price so good value.
  9. The IS200 engine doesn't have a MAF. K&N really won't do anything to the performance, but may change the intake sound to more of your liking.
  10. I'd initially try a new battery, or your spare key. It could be interference but you would have to track down what is causing it as it isn't possible to change the frequency of the vehicle/key.
  11. It shouldn't be an issue for vehicles with an integrated alarm/immobiliser system. The old LS (up to mark III?) and GS I believe had a separate alarm, possibly fitted in the UK on import. You can just reset the engine ECU by removing fuses. This procedure is for the GS but should be the same for the LS: https://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/tutorials/article/11-resetting-gs300-gs430-engine-ecu/
  12. I'm sure you could always get the health check, you just won't get a warranty if the vehicle is too old. I'd recommend that you make sure the engine warning light is working - it should come on with the ignition and go out once the car is 'Ready' - there are some people out there that will disable the light, or cover it up, to hide the fact that there is an issue.
  13. You can subscribe to workshop information on Lexus' official site: https://www.lexus-tech.eu 1 or 2 hour access is probably all you need. Depending on how bad it is, the head itself may be warped and would need to be resurfaced.
  14. Possibly a poor connection to the 12 V feed. As John has said, it would be worth measuring the voltage across the battery to get a true reading. Leave the vehicle overnight and check in the morning before starting the engine - you should have at least 12.5 V.
  15. possibly the windows/sunroof haven't been initialised correctly after a battery disconnect.
  16. Agreed, the old Park assist takes too long to set up and you have to crawl along otherwise it will disengage. I wouldn't be too worried about the lack of keycard, other than it is essentially a missing key - so you would want to get the memory erased and only the keys you have in your possession are programmed back into the system.
  17. Someone I know was quoted £120 for quite a small scratch. I've been quoted £220 for a 2 inch scratch and dent on an A pillar. Both of these were for indoor repairs, possibly with access to a courtesy car - the good franchises won't do outdoor repairs.
  18. There were three grades. LS 460, LS 460 SE, and LS 460 SE-L. The SE adds ML audio system, power boot lid, rear audio controls, rear cool box, air-con and powered rear seats, powered rear sunshades, and sunroof. The SE-L has everything the SE has plus better quality leather, parking assist, safety pack, 19" wheels, and a keycard. What is odd is that nearly all the additional features could be added as options, so you can have the situation where a 460 is better spec'd compared to a 460 SE.
  19. You really don't want that to happen. As stated above you shouldn't leave the vehicle for months without charging up the hybrid battery every couple of months. The battery charge indicator in the vehicle isn't the true state of charge - there is quite a bit more in reserve - so it isn't a problem in normal situations.
  20. There isn't a specific one for ML - it is contained within the standard owners manual and Premium Nav manual.
  21. Make sure you use the correct procedure, and the correct fluid for your transmission. The procedure attached above I believe is for the 6-speed transmission fitted to the later LS430s which uses WS fluid. The older 5 speed need T-IV fluid and has a different procedure.
