  1. It should need part code 27060-50070 provided it was manufactured 08/1992 onwards.
  2. Put it on the ground, try holding flat with bricks or some other weight and pouring hot/boiling water onto it and letting it cool. Should hold its shape better after that. Otherwise it will take a week or more to flatten out and hold there. This is more flexible than the OEM but still doesn't like being rolled up: https://www.bootsliners.co.uk/lexus-rx-boot-liner-2000-2008.html How often are you using the lower compartment? I rarely used mine, and even then kept the liner in place and just raised it up to put a few things underneath.
  3. All UK IS200 SportCross and IS300 SportCross should have an LSD.
  4. I got one from here for my GS, very pleased with it. I assume the IS one would be good too: https://www.bootsliners.co.uk/lexus-is-2005-2013-boot-liner.html
  5. So you don't use the smart entry system at all? Why not just disable the system so you don't run the risk of forgetting to disable the fob? Either a setting in the menu or dealer customisation.
  6. Not true about the special one-off seats. The S grade had cloth/velour seats with the middle sections colour co-ordinated to the exterior paint colour so this is just standard. It is somewhat rare because most GS300 sold of that age were SE grades. Things to look out for on the series II GS:
  7. The LS430 first appeared in the UK in Oct 2000. It came as standard with conventional suspension, with air suspension added as part of the £4k premium pack, which also included the rear cool box, rear electric/massaging seats, rear air con zone and controls, air con front seats and wooden steering wheel. The facelift LS430 went on sale Nov 2003 with a 6-speed transmission. Air suspension was standard - essentially the spec increased to include all the premium pack additions.
  8. I don't have the CT wiring diagram to hand but I doubt there is one, there isn't on other modern Lexus vehicles as it is directly driven via a flasher unit within the instrument cluster. There will be a fuse, in the engine bay I believe on the CT, but is shared with the indicators so if they are working then the fuse should be good.
  9. No unfortunately not.
  10. who sell via Amazon, and is currently unavailable.
  11. I'd check for correct push rod play, in case it is too tight and applying pressure all the time. When hot also bleed the system, if fluid comes out with force when you first undo the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder then there is clearly pressure in the system when there shouldn't be, which could be the lack of free play and also air in the system. m_cl_0002.pdf
  12. Excellent 🙂 FYI, cooper grease shouldn't really be used on moving parts as it is abrasive and will cause wear.
  13. Is it only a premium nav feature? The Exec only has standard nav.
  14. According to the European schedule there isn't anything that is needed at 100k other than the standard 20k service, but I believe Lexus UK change the engine and inverter coolant at that interval.
  15. Try cleaning the cabin filter, and run the fan on full speed with the filter removed for a second or two just in case there are leaves stuck in there.
  16. The official Carista adapter gives you 1 month's access to the full application, which may be all you need if you want to set customisations. Doesn't seem to be available on Amazon at the moment though.
  17. Pads are normally 12mm new, and ideally should be replaced when down to 2mm. At 5mm you still have quite a bit of life. The dealer is probably mentioning it because they don't think they will last 10k miles before they see you again but you don't have to get them done straight away. I'd also question if the discs need replacing. They should last two or three sets of pads so maybe the dealer is trying it on.
  18. It should be fine. It is Ethylene glycol based which is important, but whether it protects as well in unknown.
  19. Seems most of those changes (engine tweaks, final drive ratio, suspension) will come to the standard RC F too. The RC F TE gets weight saving, aero, and interior trim changes over the standard model.
  20. In some ways I prefer the interior compared to the ES. Doesn't have the stupid stuck on Nav screen, nor the horns at the top of the instrument cluster.
