  1. The air suspension main fuse is in the engine bay fuse box. I believe there is also a separate relay for the compressor. There is also a smaller fuse in the cabin fuse box - the fuse positions should be shown on the inside of the lid.
  2. Moved to the correct forum and duplicate removed. I don't understand what advise you are looking for if you already have replacement parts on the way and intend to convert the air suspension to traditional springs?
  3. Then don't buy it, no one is forcing you. Not sure why you have such as self entitled view that Lexus need to sell you one at a price you say so.
  4. 44 is probably the maximum the tyres are rated for. Most owners run them at 32 to 36. No tyre shop/garage will give you the correct pressure, it won't be listed in their database correctly. As above, get the geometry altered to compensate for the tyre wear. I can only recommend Tony at Wheels in Motion to do this correctly, although he may be able to recommend someone in your area: https://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk He was the person who came up with revised geometry for the IS200 to stop it wearing on the inside, settings that Lexus adopted.
  5. It uses the same system as all the other grades.
  6. We don't allow the discussion of stealing copyrighted material on these forums. If you wish to do so or feel the need to fill up at a petrol station and just drive off without paying then go ahead - just don't discuss on these forums.
  7. Totally dependant on the driver and type of journeys. Some NX owners only get low 30s and many never see 40s. Official WLTP figures put the NX around 38 and the UX at 47 for the four wheel drive variants and I'd expect the average of owners to achieve those figures.
  8. Halfords are quite often cheaper than Amazon. For example I brought some Scratch X the other day in Halfords for £11.80, it is £12.99 from Amazon.
  9. The UX only has a 43 litre tank, compared to 56 litres in the NX.
  10. very short 1 or 2 miles maybe, my wife's Prius will do 60+ mpg on 4 miles journeys and the UX uses the same/improved hybrid system.
  11. eco mode should always produce better mpg however the difference can be very small. It obviously dampens the throttle response, and I guess some people overcompensate, but it also shut down the engine more than normal mode and reduces the air con strength to improve mpg. I personally have always just used normal mode, I find eco too unresponsive for my liking. The UX isn't going to get CT levels of economy, just because of the weight and aerodynamics, but it should be close to the IS.
  12. I believe it is an active headrest which will move forward in an accident to prevent whiplash, and therefore you will see it move with different seat angles.
  13. I don't believe Lexus have an aluminium version and therefore there isn't a part number. Maybe there is third party solutions but I'm not aware.
  14. Seems easy to get to the shifter: It should be easy, but don't know how easy it is, to remove the wiring connector or remove/swap over the pins as I've never tried on the IS. If the IS-F has the same wiring as the IS250 then on the shifter 8 pin connector there are two wires for pins 1 and 2, pink and violet, that need to be swapped over.
  15. I assume belts started to be used due to noise, lightness and cost but then as all Toyota engines became interference designs they reverted back to chains. Seems the first family of engines that went back to chain suffer from these issues. The following is a good write up on a GR engine, same family as the GS450h engine, just a larger one. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/p0016-chain-stretch-cam-sensor-crank-sensor-ocv-filters-ocv-valve.509102/
  16. Don't have the IS-F wiring diagram to hand but it certainly looks as easy as just swapping over two wires within the connector on the GS F and IS300h so should be the same for the IS-F too.
  17. The tyres are a special compound compared to the standard ones which should become available for all RC F owners to purchase 🙂 For the Torsen diff models, the driveshafts are now hollow for additional unsprung weight saving.
  18. The thinking is that the VVTi changes the timing so the error isn't always detected and if you are just at the point of being out of spec then it will be intermittent.
  19. The reviews were never as bad in the US as in Europe, and even the European reviews have improved over the years so there isn't a sudden change from most hated to M4 beater. There are quite a few changes the this year's RC F suspension, driveshafts and custom P4S tyres that have all improved the handling to justify better reviews but they are never going to say your option 2 are they 😉 there are many different categories of racing and people wanting a car they drive daily on the road and then take to the track.
  20. Some of that weight is unsprung weight and so improves handling, not just a weight saving to increase power/weight ratio The RC F Carbon has a wing, the TE has a larger fixed wing which is lighter. Improves track handling. Different wing, carbon side sills, carbon rear diffuser, carbon ceramic brakes, titanium parts in the rear exhaust boxes,
  21. You need to get the error code(s) read to determine the cause of the issue. There are multiple causes for those lights to come on. Resetting the errors without fixing the issue will only result in the lights coming back on again.
  22. Stretched/worn chain is the main cause, stretches beyond the tensioner adjustment can compensate for.
