My system remembers what the main screen was last set to, but if on the map it will always come up with the destination setting dialog box over the top of the map which you need to cancel. Face lift 12.3" screen but haven't updated the maps so must be on a 2016 firmware. Couldn't see anyway to stop this, but haven't spent long looking into it as I don't tend to have the map on the screen.
What seems to be a common issue is the stereo amp on the SC430 as a source of excessive drain. Several posts about this over the years. Worth starting with that fuse.
They should be yes. The services are essentially the same, maybe some subtle differences but you can always ask for anything not included to be done in addition. Essentials is basically giving you up to 20% off labour and parts. Attached are the generic standard and essentials check lists.
In theory the dealer isn't meant to stamp your service book, but give you a separate sheet/book. However many dealers just stamp the service book.
There should be no extended warranty issues - that just states it needs to be serviced at a Lexus dealer according to the maintenance schedule.

have you tested these work? If so why not just use them rather than disabling the system. The other option is to disable on the key itself when at home but the first unlock activates the system allowing easy starting etc.
I purchased one of those a few months ago from Amazon but found the voltage reading on the display was 0.2v lower than what my meter read at the clips. Returned it as it could overcharge and damaged the battery if it thinks the voltage is lower than reality. May have just been a faulty one but sometimes you get what you pay for.
TBH the brochure isn't the best place to get all the spec. Attached is the full list.

Yes it will have the 8 speaker Pioneer system which is quite good.
There are 6 of them altogether. I was incorrect above, that sensor is just for keys left in the boot, there is another one to detect the key outside the boot. Here is a system diagram which shows them all:
It is the sensor/oscillator for the smart entry system. Lets you unlock the boot if within range and also won't allow the car to lock if it senses the key is inside the boot.
F Sport on 2014 plate, the options were Standard Nav, Premium Nav, heated/cooled seats, ML audio upgrade, sunroof, AVS (adaptive suspension) and metallic paint.
Not sure I have the full brochure, but the price list is attached.

I think the DISP button on the steering wheel toggles through the different display options. There is the one you have now, battery monitor, bar graph for instant mpg etc.
It is a different approach. Apple have a closed ecosystem on the iPhone to control the experience. This is well know, if you want more control then don't purchase an iPhone. As for your phone hardware - you were free to do what you want to it. The software however isn't yours, you have a license to use it under the manufacturers terms. The same as Microsoft don't allow you to hack their kernel drivers or licensing keys and still get support/updates.
The SMS thing is down to security rather than standards.
You can't go into any shop and buy spares for a Dell computer or a Samsung phone. All electronic manufacturers control their spares to authorised partners only.
Deliberately slowing things down to force an upgrade, I'm not aware of this. They slowed down phones that had batteries that couldn't supply enough current to run a phone at full speed without crashing/rebooting, but if you replace the battery it goes back to full speed.
If you want something cheaper than C-Tek (and as good if not better) then try a Noco Genius. The 1 is a low powered charger for small batteries but will also maintain larger ones. I've a couple of these on the family's cars at the moment.

on the diagram above it suggests Pin 4 on the switch (pink/green wire) goes to pin 7 on the ECU. Pin 3 on the switch needs to go to a ground. This is a black/white wire.
This diagram below suggests pin 1 and 2 not 3 and 4. You will need to do the continuity test to determine which pins are correct. (either pins 1 & 2, or pins 3 & 4). The other pins are for illumination of the switch.
ECU pin 7:
The Body ECU 1 is located on the passenger side footwell. Picture here is LHD, but as everything is mirrored on a RHD, it should still be in the passenger footwell - just on the other side of the vehicle. Body ECU 2 is on the opposite side.
No idea if the UK spec ECU has the control within it to work with the folder mirrors. Hopefully they used a common part.
